Hello,my friend.Have you change the cartridge?You can try reinstall the cartridges but if you have change it make sure the cartridge is compatible with your product.
Follow these steps to remove the problem cartridge and reinstall it. (it should be mentioned in the error message the number of that).
1.Press the Power button
2.Open the cartridge door. Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before continuing.
3.Press down lightly on the end of the cartridge to release it from its slot, and then slide the cartridge out to remove it.
( Make sure there is no debris on the cartridge contacts and remove all protective tape from the ink nozzle).
4.If the cartridge is clean.Push the upper part of the cartridge forward until it clicks into place.
(Also make sure that Tri-color cartridges go into the slot on the left and the black cartridges go into the slot on the right).
5.Close the print cartridge door.
If the issue persists , let me know so we can continue to the next solution.
But BE CAREFULLY do NOT touch the copper-colored contacts or ink nozzles. Do not reapply the tape to the cartridge.

For 4+ Cartridge Printers:

Step1:-Remove All Printer Cartridges.
Do remove the individual ink cartridges from your printer. This will be opening the lid of your printer and waiting for the cartridge cradle to be placed in the correct position.
Step2:-Remove the Print-head.
This is can be done by lifting the orange or gray locking lever on the side of the cartridge cradle and then gently lifting the print-head from the printer.

I get a message 'print cartridge error'. nothing


Try replacing the cartridge, if still getting error cleaning contacts in printer where cartridge sits with wet Qtip, also clean printhead on cartridge. Reinsert cartridge and see if this clears error message.

10.00.00 supply memory error


The 10.00.00 SUPPLIES MEMORY ERROR is based on the e-label. To clear the error, do the following:
NOTE: If the error occurs, it should appear at beginning of life, causing the error message after first installing the cartridge.
Turn the printer off and on to clear the message.
Put in the old catridge and see what happens.
If OK put in the new one again.
Verify that the print cartridge is a genuine HP cartridge.
Check that the E-label reader is functioning correctly.
Check that there is contact between the E-label chip on the print cartridge and the E-label reader on the printer.
To verify this contact, insert a new print cartridge.
Remove it again.
Check for scratches on the e-label chip and on the cartridge.
If contact is being made, replace the print cartridge (part number: Q2610A).
If contact is not being made, check the toner guides to see if they are in the proper position, or that the cartridge is not damaged.
If the printer has a 500-sheet Tray 3 installed, turn the printer off again and replace the print cartridge with a new HP print cartridge.
Turn the printer on again.
If the error does not clear, turn the printer off and remove tray 3.
Turn the printer on and verify if the error clears.
HP has recently discovered that a 10.00.00 Supplies Memory Error can occur when Tray 3 is faulty.

What is a incompatible print cartridge? The printer "Thinks" that the print cartridge, is NOT an original HP PhotoSmart one. Even print cartridge have chips.

  1. Power off your printer.
  2. Use both hands to lift up the scanner unit until the scanner support holds it open.
  3. Turn the printer on. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the printer is busy.
  4. Remove the color print cartridge.
  5. Lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
  6. If the error message reappears, replace the black print cartridge with a new print cartridge.
    If it does not repeat steps 1-3 and then go to step 7.
  7. Reinstall the color cartridge and remove the black print cartridge.
  8. Lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.
  9. If the error message occurs again, replace the color cartridge.
  10. If an error message reappears, repeat steps 1-3 and reinstall both print cartridges.

  1. Open the front cover of printer and remove the toner cartridge exhibiting error.
  2. Inspect the print cartridge to ensure the e-label reader is attached to print cartridge and is not damaged.
  3. Inspect the inside of printer to verify the e-label does not have any product packing tape still attached.
  4. Inspect the e-label reader to ensure the gold contact points are not damaged or bent. Also inspect the black plastic on e-label reader to ensure it is not bent or broken.
  5. Reinstall the print cartridge.
  6. Power cycle the device.
  7. If reinstalling the print cartridge does not resolve the issue, replace the print cartridge.

The following error message appears on the color graphics display after you insert a cartridge: Remove and Check Print Cartridges . The printer will not print. The message does not specify which cartridge has caused the error. Solution This error message indicates that the printer cannot determine which cartridge is causing the error. Follow the steps below to solve the problem.
  1. Remove the color cartridge from the left stall (which has a blue latch) and refasten the latch. Leave the other cartridge in place.
  2. Close the printer, wait 10 to 15 seconds, then look at the LCD display.
    • If the LCD display reads Insert Color Cartridge in Left Stall , the color cartridge may be causing the problem. Follow the steps below:
      1. Clean the color cartridge contacts.
      2. Reinsert the color cartridge into the carriage and close the blue latch.
      3. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds.
      4. If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , replace the color cartridge.
    OR
    • If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , follow the steps below:
      1. Reinsert the color cartridge.
      2. Remove the black or photo cartridge, depending on which one is installed in the right stall. The right stall has the gray latch. Be sure to refasten the latch on the empty stall.
      3. Clean the black or photo cartridge contacts.
      4. Reinsert the black or photo cartridge.
      5. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds.
      6. If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , replace the black or photo cartridge.

  1. Remove and then reinsert the cartridge indicated in the error message.
  2. If the error is still displayed, clean the contacts.
    1. If the error message is Error. Remove and Check Black or Photo Cartridge , the following steps may help:
    1. Remove both cartridges, lower the latches, and close the printer access door.
    2. Turn off the unit by pressing the On button on the front panel. Wait for the printer to completely shut down.
    3. Turn the printer back on by pressing the On button.
    4. When the message display reads Insert Print Cartridges , open the access door and replace the cartridges.
    1. If neither of the steps above fixed the problem, either the cartridge or the printer is faulty
