I have serviced many Polaroids that simply go dead. The problem is that all parts are contained in the control box. You cannot buy individual bds for Polaroids. You might check Andrews Electronics or Vance Baldwin for Polaroid parts.

No power at all after an power outage

Before you investigate the TV and its power supply, have you confirmed that the outlet is still delivering the voltage? Sorry if I ask but you said you turned everything back on after the power failure and I didn't know if you meant equipment in the house or all circuit breakers in the house.

Check and replace its main power regulator board. Before replacing it, check the fuse, can be located on this board itself.

My Panasonic Viera Plasma TV won't turn on.

Thats indicating the standby voltage from the DG has an issue and is preventing the set from powering up. Replacing the DG would be the recomended repair for that issue. You can get the DG board from www.tvrpairworld.com

I have a Sony NSX-40GT1 that won't power on. You can hear the relay click after plugging in, and the red power led comes on, but when you push the power button it does nothing. Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. Can anyone help. If possible i'd like to fix it rather than go return it. It worked fine for a while and then suddenly started turning itself off. Now every time i turn it on it turns itself off.

Hello,

Turn your TV on by pushing either the power button on the front of the TV or the power button on the remote control, which is located in the upper right corner of the remote.

Step 2
Press and hold the "up arrow" button on the remote control. The up arrow button is located in the middle of the remote, to the left of the "Input" button and below the "Picture" button.

Step 3
Press the power button on the TV while still holding down the up arrow button. The TV will turn off and then turn itself back on.

Step 4
Release the up arrow button. Once the TV turns itself back on, it will restore your TV to its factory settings.
