Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
I would suggest resetting your phones.
Disconnect all phones from the power and telephone line (if there are more than 1 phone on the same line, if not, just disconnect the telephone line). Wait 15 minutes and reconnect the power and line again, one at a time if multiple phones on the same line.
If your phone still does not work, the telephone cable could be bad. Replace the cable.
If you still have a problem, either the phone base is bad or the line is bad. Test with another phone, if available. If replacing the phone and telephone line doesn't resolve after resetting, contact your telephone provider.
Hope all of this helps.

SOURCE: Set not ringing
When you say you are the one responsible for the programming, are you referring to programming the "physical phone" or the PBX and line cards and system functionality?
You should have an extension on your phone. Has that extension for example 222 been translated at the PBX to ring on a direct number -> (xxx) 555-1222
Or by what you are describing, you are more looking at having "shared lines" that ring in multiple locations simultaneously, and once picked up somewhere a "line lock" should be in place?

Partner, all releases. Examples
Receptionist Call Routing. If you want calls to be answered by the receptionist first, set the lines at the receptionist's extension to Immediate Ring and the lines at the users' extensions to No Ring. (This is the factory setting)
Receptionist Backup. If you want all calls on a line to ring directly at users' extensions -with the receptionist providing backup -set the line at the users' extensions to Immediate Ring. Then set the line (or lines) at the receptionist's extension to Delayed Ring. An incoming call that is not answered by a user within 20 seconds will also ring at the receptionist's extension.
To change the way outside lines or pools ring at an extension:

Uh oh, I just saw this. Is it in the main board 101-108 exts, or one of the expansion boards?
Ringing is set 3 ways, by the switch on the side of the phone, by programming, by features. First, make sure the switch is in the ring position and have someone call you on the intercom. If it rings, have someone transfer an outside call to you. If it rings, try dialing 790 on the intercom to reset station features. If none of this works, It's time to look at ring programming. It's done from the system programming mode at the main phone or from a PC. It's program codes 408-410 or section 3.2 from the Maintenance console.
The last ugly thing is it's a hardware failure.
