Hi, I wonder if you can help me. Over a year ago I purchased this player and recently it is not playing any video or dvd. I do not understand. It starts up (the splash screen) then it flicks back to the tv. The vcr window is out a bit as it is not in its place. I am debating if I should fix this machine or get a new one. Any tips how to repair this on my own? I took the device apart this morning and never saw anything loose but I would like to know how to fix the vcr window or what the possible problem(s) is/are. Thanks so much. (The product that I wanted to choose was not shown)

- Yeah my DVD player stoped working on it a couple months ago and I cant figgure it out! Every time I go to put in a disk it says Disk Error Please Eject disc. Playback feature may not be available on this Disc. and some of the DVDs are BRAND NEW!!! If there is a way I can fix this please let me know other wise I am going out and buying a new DVD player!- milw261steamSolution #1

See if the disk is spinning up. if it spins then the Laser is probably bad.
