Internet connections on GT_C5130
Connecting to Internet requires an active connection. That is depending on the active connection that you will be using for your mobile phone.
There are two options for getting active connection:*GRPS*Wi-fi connection
GPRS needs configuration setting from your telephone service provider. It can be provided to you and you will enter it on your phone settings manually. It can also be just sent to you via SMS and you just need to save it. If you are going to ask for these settings from your telephone service provider, tell them to send it to you via OTA (over the air) so you will just save the settings after receiving it.Once you have the settings for you GPRS, you will be able to use the internet but possible data rates will apply.
To connect to internet via GPRS:1. Select the web icon from you mobile phones icon.2. You will be asked about what active connection you want to use, select GPRS.3. Once connected, go to the address bar and enter the url/web address that you want to browse. then you're good to go but your mobile account credits will be the one deducted, there will be charges for browsing. This is depending on the terms and agreement that you have with your Telephone service provider.
For wifi connection:
1. Make sure that you have a working modem router in your premise.2. Turn the modem/router on.3. Select settings icon from your mobile phone.4. Select Wireless Connection or WI-FI connection.5. Select options, then select connect.6. You will be asked for the WEP or WPA key. This is depending on what is the security option that you selected in the modem settings. (for modem settings you can contact your internet service provider or OEM for the modem)7. If you are aware of your pre shared key, just type it in the password option from the mobile screen.8. Once connected, you can use the wifi as your active connection access.
