How do I print wirless on a HP Officejet H470b

Hi, I've got an HP Officejet H470b and I want to go wireless with it. Setting up laptop and printer in someonelse's house can be messy with cables.
My laptop is not bluetooth, but it is wireless enabled.
What do I need to get printing wireless?

Cheers...sandy

Hello my friend.First you must install the software if you haven't.Insert the Starter CD that was with your printer into the CD drive, the menu runs automatically,if its not double-click the Setup icon on the
Starter CD.On the menu, click the button for the connection method you want to use(wireless).Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the software installation.
After that we are going to create a wireless profile.
Open the configuration utility for your computer’s wireless network card, then do
the following:
Create a new wireless profile with the following values:
• Communication mode: ad hoc
• Network name (SSID): hpsetup
• Security (encryption): disabled
Activate the profile.
Wait two minutes for the device to obtain an IP address, then print a wireless
configuration page.
On the configuration page, verify the following for the device’s network settings:
• Communication mode: ad hoc
• Network name (SSID): hpsetup
• The IP address is not 0.0.0.0

I know this thread was started 2 years ago, so the original contributors may not be around any more, but.... For the sake of everyone else who finds this thread (like me) & tries to follow the advice; "Security disabled" - Are you kidding? Are you seriously suggesting we leave our computer & printer connection for anyone else to access & at the very least, to eavesdrop upon our data flow? NO CHANCE!! The problem is though, can one actually enable security using HP's wifi adapter?

They can gain access to your printer easily but not in your computer!

You can follow the same steps but instead using Security disabled choose WEP encryption or WPA encryption and instert your password.Thank you
