There isn't anything too simple about wireless communications. First you need a transmitter. Your headphone output would be a likely source for your transmitter. Once you have that in place you will need a receiver of the same operating frequency as your transmitter. The receiver will demodulate the signal and you will be left with a low voltage audio signal which would then need to be amplified. Amplifier power gain would be dependent upon a few things. Size of speaker, output power desired etc etc. All in all it would be cheaper to buy one. Good Luck!

Need to replace volume control. Where do I take it?

Open it up. See the rating on the control. Buy another one and solder it in place. Pretty simple, only 3 wires. You can also try before to inject some lubricant like WD-40 into the control, might fix it !
Peace

Are the speakers with the samsung bluray/dvd 3D home entertainment system wifi/wireless

Pretty straight forward. If there is a connector on the back of the speaker, it's a wired speaker. If there is no connector, it's a wireless system. Sorry if that's seams to simple a solution, but if you still have a question and need more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

How to change to wirless speakers

Not very many "cheap" solutions. Unless your speakers are powered you will still need an amplifier and an A/C outlet near the speaker to power them. If you have the ability to access Bluetooth somehow you could send a signal to a Bluetooth receiver connected to the amp then run wires to the speaker. You could always buy a really cheap (Nady, Samson, etc.) wireless mic & essentially use it to transmit the line level audio to the receivers attached to the speakers. Like I said, no real simple solution.

Have wireless router. need adapter for old hard wired computer speakers

You can't use a wireless adapter like one you connect to a laptop or PC. Simple reason is that your speakers don't have an Operating System that can translate the wireless signal.

The easiest way (and I don't know what you call "reasonable priced") is to use Airport Express from Apple. A nice how-to can be found here. You can get them used for about 50$.

Another option is to use Sony HomeShare Wi-Fi Network Speakers - they cost about the same. Example here and a little how-to here.

Hope this helps - let me know if you have any questions.

Wireless speakers are not connecting to the box all the other speakers are working except for the two wireless ones we have followed all of the instructions in the manual but they still are not working the...

Hi,
Wireless speakers needs power to run ,unless they are powered by battery (to be loaded into speaker modules) ,I believe you connected each of the wireless speaker to 110 VAC power plug and the transmitter module as well..
Before connecting them to your Samsung htd-d550 ,I recommend you test them with something else,i.e..NOTEBOOK Audio output or MP3 player headphones output...
if you succeed then you can connect it to your Samsung..
Please make a simple test to make sure wireless speakers are working and if you need more help just let me know ..
Hope this helps! Take care and please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up for me to continue for Helping out the Community :) Thanks

No sound comes out of my LG ENV cellphone earpiece

This is a very-well known issue and defect. Documented by Verizon Wireless and by the manufacturer. There is supposedly a workaround, which is a simple as pressing the speaker key right next to the "CLR" key, however I have tried it on several phones to no avail. Recommend warranty replacement.

Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.
