You need to clean the lens at the laser unit... to do this, you need to open the front cover and on the right side, there is 1 level for you to pull out, once done, goto the right side of the printer, take out the small cover at the side bottom, then by applying some pressure, pull the cleaner out and insert back a few times, this will clean the lens and you will be able to print good again.

Toner is full but printing quality is poor

Depends on what type of poor quality you have. Are there repeating defects? A bad fuser, bad photoconductor drum will both cause problems, even if the toner is full.

Right hand side page print quality very poor, almost unreadable

this is cause of the lens is dirty with toner droping..
open the front cover and on the right side, there is a level for you to pull out.. at the right side of the printer, open the small cover and you will be able to find a cleaner. To clean..pull out the holder few times.. by applying slight pressure..that will clean the bottom lens..and u should be able to print out fine now..

Order the specified photoconductor unit. When print quality is reduced, install the new

Poor print quality

Sounds to me like a toner cartridge going bad, but If you want to clean the photoconductor, blow it with compressed air, there shouldnt be anything to "scrub" off. Just a dry cloth should get anything else. if it looks good, it may have become exposed somehow...roll it manually with your thumb and see if there is a discolored part. I dont think this is any larger of a problem than replacing the photoconductor and possibly toner.

Printer streeky dispite deap cleaning

If it is an inkjet you may have to change the ink cartridge, ink may have dried out and pluged openings from the inside of the cartridge. If it is a laser, it is possible that you may have to print a dozen or two pages to get the toner cartridge to behave...

you need to replace the Drum otherwise known as the photoconductor I believe the part number is 75P5712 - your toner cartridge actually seats into the PC kit.

Poor Print Quality on Epson Aculaser C1100N

Sounds like the black dev unit is worn out. Easy enough to change yourself if it is out of warranty. If it is in warranty get Epson to do it for you.

Blinking lights

I believe that you are talking about the photoconductor kit this needs replacing when it has reached end of like if you don't replace it you will get poor print quality and risk damaging the printer as well. Below find the lexmark web site with their quick reference guide.

Here are the steps to reset the page count on a Lexmark E234, as described here:
  1. Power the printer on and get it to the Ready state.
  2. With the printer on and in the Ready state, open the front cover.
  3. Press and hold the Cancel button until all of the lights begin flashing up and down.
  4. Release the Cancel button and close the door. The photoconductor count should now be reset.
Hope that helps!
