Question about Zanussi 24 in. LS6E Free-standing Dishwasher

Open Question

I have an zanussi LS6 and in the display it on and off shows the A1 and B2 and spills water. The problem though is not what normally comes with A1 and B2. Somehow the water gets to electrical parts and all power is out in the café. Several experts that has been to see the machine clame it has something to do with the electrical system - that measueres when there is enough water. They say it has something to do with machine having the salt container and they have all given up repairing it. I bought it new in september 2006 and find it very unsatisfactory, that I have to buy a new machine after only 3½ years. hope you can help me?

SOURCE: no water getting to washer

Yes, but I would check to make sure power is getting to the valve before replacing. Usually if you hear a buzzing, then power is going to the valve. The best way is with a meter on A/C setting then put it on OHM setting to check the solenoids on the valve. I would buy a meter at an appliance parts store so they can show you how to use it. It's not that difficult and everyone should have one.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.

Hi I have problems with my mitsubishi dehumidifier Oasis Elite MJ-E-142NX-A1 The water tank full light stays on even though the tank is empty. I have emptied the water and replaced the container care

Sounds like your float is stuck in the full position, or the sensor that shows full is stuck on full.
If tank is empty but shows full, problem lies where full signal is coming from.

The vacuum was on when my son tripped the cord and one prong broke off in the outlet. We patched on another cord. It won't turn on tried other outlets. Can't find reset switch, is there one or did we...

Maybe you got the wires crossed between the two cords. Vacuums have polarized plugs and if wired imcorrectly can definitely cause the vacuum to not work. Try switching over.
In other words, consider current wires as A1/A2 and B1/B2. Disconnect, then connect A1 to B2 and A2 to B1.

vacuum===============A1 A2=======Plug
===============B1 B2=======Plug

Switch to
vacuum===============A1 B2=======Plug
===============B1 A2=======Plug

Try this and see what happens.

Need to take create a formula that takes a cell

Hi sug04
These are couple of solutions
First. Solution
  • Take away 20% means the answer is 80%
  • 20% means 0.2 of a number, 80% means 0.8 of a number
  • So If you have 200 in Cell B1
  • And you want 20% less in B2
  • Goto B1 type 200
  • Goto B2 type like this =B1*.8 and press ENTER
  • Now Cell B2 displays 160 which is the correct answer
Second Solution
  • Goto B1 type 200
  • Goto B2 type like this =B1-(B1*.2) and press ENTER
  • Now Cell B2 displays 160 which is the correct answer

Good luck, have a nice day

How do i multiply a value by a minimum amount

I you have a row with 6 values you can get the minimum number from that area. Example:
A1: 6
A2: 8
A3: 3
A4: 9
A5: 2
A6: 7

in B2 we want to pick the smallest value in that group and multiply it with 60. This is what you type in B2

=min(A1:A6)*60

Yeah :)
that's all.... Good Luck :)

Excel formula,

the basic idea of an if statement is just that if this then that. Thus a formula could look as simple as =IF(A2=1,25,IF(A2=2,10))

Formular to show number and cell references

The formula for A1 is: =SUM(B4,B5)
A2 is: =SUM(C4,C5)
A3 is: =SUM(A1:A2)

To test this, put 25 in cell B4, 25 in cell B5, then 30 in cell C4, and 30 in cell C5.....the result in cell A3 is 110.

Hope this helps.

Excel function

an2net21,

The simplest solution is to use the if function.
In your example you coudl use:

=IF(A1="girl",1,0)

IF "girl" is in a1 then b2 would show as 1.
If anything else but "girl" is in a1 then b2 would show as 0.
