Question about Electrolux Washing Machines
It is the drain system. What you are experiencing is a drain problem. The machine won't advance to spin until the drain problem is fixed.
The first thing to do is accessing the drain pump hose and emptying water in there.
You will need to disconnect power, either unplugging power cord, or tripping circuit breaker. Then open the door located on the front right hand side , below the door. In there unscrew the hose cap, and be ready to collect the water that will flow with a big container.
The procedure is also illustrated on the owners manual.
If that does not fix the problem, or if there is no blockage in there and no water is flowing, then the problem is either a faulty drain pump, or a bad pressure switch, that is the device that is used to detect water , and decide when to stop drain pump.
If there is a fault, then parts must be tested. In that case I would suggest contacting Electrolux at the number listed on the owners manual, to get a technician at home.
