I have a Sony kp53v25. The original problem on my TV was half of the screen normal, on the left half the colors were double like different color shadows. I replaced the 2 convergence chips stk392-010. When I turne it back on after putting everything together it won't come up anymore. The standby LED keeps flashing and clicking sound at the back. I opened it again and found the 2 3.125 fuse were blown. What did I do wrong. I checked the solders thoroughly and found no shorts on it. I bought the chips at the internet.

After movement things to try; 1) make sure a/c outlet is working, try with lamp, notice bulb brightness. 2) disconnect all cables from tv 3) unplug tv from a/c out let for 2-3 minutes plug back in. 4) still no work? count blinking of light; eg two blinks slight pause six blinks= fault code 26. My 15 month Celcus LCD423D913FHD tv will not turn on. The standby light is lit and will flicker but will not power up the tv. What is the likely problem?

Fault with its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Sony KDL-46z4100 standby light blinking 12 time with few seconds gap continiously

12 blinks of standby light indicates 'Scanrate error'. You must have thorough knowledge in electronics to proceed. Actually, this is not a user repairable fault. it is very skilled work.

Tv is in standby mode (red light on bottom left is blinking). we can't get it out of this mode. We moved the tv and unplugged it...tried to turn it back on and this happened.

I need a model or chassis no. (on the back of the TV). Also how many times does the light flash between the long pauses? Sonys have a self diagnostic feature that flashes the power light a certain number of times to indicate various problems.

Sony Bravia KDL 46", no picture, standby light blinks 4 times

Since the TV is still receiving power, the problem is going to be with the TV's mainboard.  After you unplugged the TV and plugged it back in, you said the power light went out again, so I assume the standby light wasn't flashing again?  The flashing standby light is indicating an error code so my suggestion is to contact Sony for service options regardless if there is a warranty or not because service is the only solution to this situation.  Don't forget to provide them the error code or 4 flashes repeating.
