Question about Sony DAV-SC5 System
When you attempt to eject the disk, listen carefully, do you hear a motor running at all? If so, then the load belt is slippnig. Increased force is required to release the disk from the clamper assembly which clamps the disk to the motor table. If hte belt has dried up a bit, it will slip and not release the disk. This is a relatively inexpensive repair that only requires replacing the loading belt.
