Yes, they'll still be on the memory card as long as they have not been
overwritten with new files. This will be true even if you accidentally
"erased" them or even if you reformatted the card.
If you put the card into an external card reader and use free SD card recovery software then you should be able to recover the data. If you can't recover the information, then bear in mind that the best recovery software can recover almost anything but is not free. You could choose to invest in better software or send the card to a data recovery specialist and pay a professional fee for the service.
