Phone won't let me dwnload pics n mms messages

There could be a couple reasons for this.
1) You might not have data or it is locked. MMS requires data to send and receive pics. Even if you have free mms messaging you might have a data block on your line.

2) If you are using a unlocked phone or its from a different carrier your mobile network mms settings might need to be set. Normal text messaging does not require any any special settings but mms does.

I would contact your service provider or a tech that van check your APN settings for your mms to work. Hope this helpsm:)

Received mms from 09478835873 but i can't retrieve it

MMS is one of the feature of the mobile service that you have. You are using smart for your mobile service, right?
There are settings on the phone that should be taken cared of for you to have access with other services. MMS is one of them. Once MMS setting is not yet set on your phone, once someone sent you MMS, you will not be able to retrieve it nor open it for your MMS settings were not yet installed,it seems not activated.
You need to call smart for them to send you the settings. Once you recieved the settings via sms, just save it. For you to check if its working for sending and recieving, just send an MMS to your own number.

Straight Talk Phone- cannot send or recieve messages. Called customer service they did master reset & restore by telling me code. lost all my phone numbers & my photos, still can make calls Just My...

Straight talk mms not working - Complete Troubleshooting Guide Straight talk mms not working - Complete Troubleshooting Guide. There are many folks out there that are having trouble with their Straight Talk MMS Settings, mainly not able to send or receive MMS on their Straight talk phone. This troubleshooting Guide is aimed at those guys who have already setup their Straight talk MMS Settings and are still not able to send or receive MMS on Android, if you are having this issue, please continue Reading, otherwise if you are looking into how to setup the MMS Settings for your phone, you should read THIS.
A few things can cause the Straight Talk MMS not working issue, these Straight Talk MMS problems seems to be very common, especially when people switch from another operator or recently changing to an LTE phone. The most common reason causing the Straight Talk MMS not to work are related to wrong setup on the MMS Settings, either having the wrong configuration or missing the correct MMS Proxy or Port. Let's get it done!

Straight talk MMS not working Step 1 - Verifying the MMS Settings

Please verify that your phone actually have the proper Straight talk APN or MMS settings in Place.
Please go to Settings > Wireless Connections > More > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names and verify that your values match these ones:
Name: STRAIGHT_TALK
APN: wap.tracfone
Proxy: 216.155.165.40
Port: 8080
MMSC: http://mms.tracfone
MMS Proxy: 215.155.165.40
MMS Port: 8080
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Save the settings, restart the Phone and TEST. If the above settings don't work for you, please try changing to these values:
Name: STRAIGHT_TALK
APN: att.mvno
Port: 80
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: 66.209.11.33
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Save and Try again.

Straight talk MMS not working Step 2 - Verify your SIM

If you recently changed your Phone and you are using and old version of the SIM cards, sometimes this might be the problem. This is more relevant on the LTE Phones, and if you just recently ported your number from another operator, it might take a few days for it to replicate the settings over, in this case, just wait a little bit.

Straight talk MMS not working Step 3 - Install an MMS App

If the above two steps doesn't solve the issue and you are still not able to send, receive or Download MMS on your Straight Talk Phone, you can try downloading the GO SMS Pro APP, which seems to solve the issue for many people having this problem. This app also gives you additional features such as auto-reply, 800+ emotions and it's completely Free.

GENERAL PHONE SETTINGS FOR GPRS
1. Setting APN : First we have to set one APN each for Internet and MMS respectively.
(Access Point Name) - for Internet set ( www.e.po) and for MMS set (mms.e.po)
2. Setting WAP Profiles : Now we need a WAP PROFILEwith WAP GATEWAY (192.168.81.163)
3. Creating Bookmarks : Now we need some BOOKMARKS of WAP SITES for Internet Surfing.
4. Settings for MMS : Different Handsets have their respective MMS Settings where we
require MESSAGE SERVER / HOMEPAGE and this is set as follows : http://192.168.81.166/servlets/mms

Mms does not work, i am UNABLE to send pic msgs. plz help

hi...

I suppose you havenot got the MMs settings from your service provider.

Please call your service provider and ask for the settings. When they send it please save it to your phoneand make it as a default settings so that your phone uses this setting when you send MMS.

In settings there is an option called as ALLOW MMS RECEPTION, please put this to ON,

To go to Allow MMS RECEPTION option follow the steps

Menu----->message----->message settings----->MMS setting------>allow MMS reception

Now you can use MMS

thanx

How to activate & send mms in samsung s8000 mobile

you need to configure the mms settings from your internet menu... but you need the right configuration from your network provider to the settings..
to give you an idea, here's how you may do it.. from your phone, press menu select internet select browser profiles to lead you to internet profile settings.. from your settings, press create.  then create the mms profile your network preferred.  once created, press save and exit the settings for internet profiles..
to make the mms profiles be the default settings for your mms, do thes steps... from your phone, press menu select settings select phone applications select messages select multimedia from multimedia menu, select profiles assign the mms profiles you created for your multimedia. press save and exit the setup...
now to check if it's working, try sending a multimedia message to your own number to check if your phone can send and receive mms. once you successfully send it and received it, it means that your phone mms is already set and working...
take care..

Kf600 wont let mms settings work

To have the t-zone to work and have MMS, do the following:

Menu->Settings->Connection-> Network Profiles then click "New"

Connection title:
T-Zones
Authentication:
PAP
Username:
* leave blank *
Password:
* leave blank *
APN:
epc.tmobile.com

then click save. This will allow the t-zone to work on your browser. Next, to set up your MMS settings, do the following:
Menu->Messaging->Message Settings->Multimedia Message->Message Center->Options->New

Name:
tmobile

MMSC URL:
http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

MMSC Proxy:
216.155.174.050

MMSC Port:
8080

Connection Mode:
TCP without Proxy

then save it, and activate that profile. If all goes well, those should be the correct setting for tmobile tzone and mms on an unlocked AT&T CU720 Shine as of October 18, 2008

Mms settings

You need to get the Settings for Internet/Wap and MMS from your Network Service Provider. These settings are usually sent as a text msg. When you receive the msg. choose save or install on your phone. Or get the settings directly from their website. The MMS service doesn’t always work between networks.
You don't need to go into setting it up manually yourself, it's all automated.
