Question about Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player
I used the device manager to fix a problem with my player and, even though it said the problem was repaired, my computer doesn't recognize it and the word "initializing" keeps flashing on and off in a blue screen
Uninstall the existing Device Manager.
Download the latest Device Manager software for this device from www.p4c.philips.com and install this.
Repair the player using the updated software.
If the problem still persists, try the update once more.
If this still doesn't work, then the main PCB is faulty and will have to be replaced.
If the repair does work, the player briefly shows a message on screen when restarted, then shuts down again.
You then need to restart the player again and it shows Updating, and then goes to the main menu.
