Go to System Settings under Settings in the Home Menu. Click Restore Default Settings. The password should then be 0000 or 9999

If you're PSP can run homebrew, download this:http://pspupdates.qj.net/PSP-Password-Re...

Otherwise there seems to be almost no ways to retrieve the password...

What i need to do to connect my psp for internet

You will need a wireless router in order to connect the PSP to the internet
  • With your Psp turned on go to the "Settings" in the menu (scroll to the left)
  • Scroll all the way down until you have reached "Network Settings" and click the "X" button to enter
  • Select "Infrastructure Mode" and hit "X"
  • Select "New Connection" and hit the X button again
  • Now you will have a number of options for connecting to a wireless connection. Choose "Scan" and press the control pad to the left, the PSP will now scan for wifi signals around your area
  • When the PSP finishes scanning you will probably have a few different wifi connections. SSID is the name of the connection, the Security column tells you whether or not the connection is password protected, and the last one is the signal strength the higher the better
  • If you want to borrow your neighbors unprotected wifi select a connection with "None" in the security column and a strong signal. If you want to use a secure wifi than you will need to know the password. Select one and press the X button
  • Now the Psp will confirm your settings proceed by pressing left on the d-pad and save your settings
  • Now test your connection if you are able to connect, awesome. If you were not able to connect try doing the settings again
  • With the connection settings in place we can now connect the PSP to the internet. In the home menu scroll all the to the left until you have reached "Network" and go down to "Internet Browser" and hit "X"
  • Your browser will appear, select the little square box to enter the web address, play around with the different options. Have fun with your PSP online

I do not know how to find my wpa key for my psp

i suggest turning off the wpa security thing, to do this type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0 in your internet browser on ur computer. every wireless network databass is different. the first 7 digits number are the same. for example every network databass starts with 192.168.1 and the last digit is different. if u try the ip i gave u above and it still doesnt work.play with the ip thing by switching the last digit to 1 through 10. for example: 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3 and so forth, then try connecting it to the network. o yea..... in order to gain access to the databass, u will have to be administrator which u can obtain it from ur internet provider, just type in admin in both username and password

1. Disable the security features. (this means that you don't have to enter any password when connecting PSP to the router)
2. Reconfigure your PSP: no security
3. Test your connection

I need help connecting to the internet with my psp

Connecting the PSP to the internet is pretty easy once you get all your settings in place. Here’s how to connect the psp to the Internet. You will need a wireless router in order to connect the PSP to the internet or you could “borrow” your neighbours wireless access although it’s better to have your own. Wireless routers are very cheap nowadays you could find a good one for about 30 for 50 bucks.
  • With your Psp turned on go to the “Settings” in the menu (scroll to the left)
  • Scroll all the way down until you have reached “Network Settings” and click the “X” button to enter
  • Select “Infrastructure Mode” and hit “X”
  • Select “New Connection” and hit the X button again
  • Now you will have a number of options for connecting to a wireless connection. Choose “Scan” and press the control pad to the left, the PSP will now scan for wifi signals around your area
  • When the PSP finishes scanning you will probably have a few different wifi connections. SSID is the name of the connection, the Security column tells you whether or not the connection is password protected, and the last one is the signal strength the higher the better
  • If you want to borrow your neighbors unprotected wifi select a connection with “None” in the Security column and a strong signal.
In the home menu scroll all the to the left until you have reached “Network” and go down to “Internet Browser” and hit “X”
  • Your browser will appear, select the little square box to enter the web address, play around with the different options. Have fun with your PSP online

I need to now how use my psp san disk and can get on websites

For you to surf the internet, your PSP has to have firmware 2.0 and above. to find out what firmware your PSP has:

1. Turn on the PSP.
2. Go to the "Settings" category (it's the one farthest to the left).
3. Scroll down to the "System Settings" icon and press x.
4. Scroll down to "System Information" and press x.
5. The screen will display the PSP's MAC Address, System Software Version, and Nickname. The
"System Software Version" is the firmware version.

If you have the 2.0 And above firmware heres how to get connected to the internet :

  1. Find a wireless access point. make sure you have the correct password as you will be asked to input it in order to connect to the WAP.
  2. Insert a Memory Stick. If you want to save any bookmarks while you're online, you'll need to have a Memory Stick to save them on. The same goes for any content you might want to download.
  3. Turn on the WLAN switch. You'll find this on the left side of the PSP, just above the Memory Stick slot.
  4. Set up the Network Settings. You'll find these under the "Settings" menu, right at the bottom of the list. Choose "Infrastructure Mode" and follow the instructions. Here's where you might need a password (see step 1).
  5. Open the Browser. Select "Network" from the home menu (it's the one farthest to the right). Scroll down and select "Internet Browser" (the icon has www on it). The PSP will connect and the browser will open (there will be a slight delay as this happens).
  6. Go to the Address Bar. If you don't see an address bar at the top of the browser, press the triangle button and it will appear. Navigate to the address bar using the up button on the d-pad. The address bar will light up.
  7. Surf away !
and in the case of you talking about San Disc. im guessing your asking how to insert and your Memory stick Duo? if so follow these steps :
  1. Open the slot cover for the Memory Stick Duo located on the left side of the PSP? system.
  2. With the printed side of the Memory Stick Duo facing out towards you, slide the Memory Stick Duo? into the slot in the direction of the arrow printed on the Memory Stick Duo.
  3. Press the Memory Stick Duo until fully inserted.
  4. Slide the slot cover back into its original position
Hope this helps !?

Hi mate

Through Wi-Fi, go to a Wi-Fi zone and I hope it is free. Turn on your PSP, go to Internet Browser, Scan, select an Access Point, press Right Button a few times and hope it is not password protected. Save the settings. Select it when you open your internet browser again.

Psp internet problem

Ok, this problem has happened to me before, and most commonly the problem relies on a wrong inputed password on your psp. Double check the password you put into the psp is the same one you have for your entire network. If you are continuing to have problems try unplugging the modem and router for about 15 second and connect them again. Good Luck!

How to get internet on my psp

Look its not necessary get internet on ur psp. Its how to connect to the internet on the psp. You are gonna need a wireless internet network. Usually at food restaurants, or at ur house. Its not like you can connect the psp with a cable to the internet. Its all wireless hottie262477. To find wireless go all the way to your left on the psp and turn on the wifi button. Then go ur settings and all the way down to network settings. From there click on infracture mode. And scan for wireless hotspots. Of course any wireless one that says it needs a wep code. Means that it has a password and if you don't know the password you can't necessarily access it. So use the no password hotspots. Also remember its very easy to connect a wireless network in your house as long as u have high speed internet. Now that you this u can enjoy ur psp and play online and use the web browser. Good luck Diego :-)
