Question about Computers & Internet
Is the computer coming on or is it just flashing and then nothing? From what you have said I am guessing you are saying it is not powering on?? You either have a bad power supply, DC jack, or your battery is bad. If the computer turns on and runs fine with just the power supply and not the systems battery then you probably have a bad battery. If your computer is not turning on try wiggling the adapter up close to the DC jack when you push the power button. If it turns on or tries to turn on then you need to replace your DC jack. If you have a voltage meter you can check your power supply to make sure it is getting proper voltage.

Testimonial: "i kelp working with the battey and the adaptor as u explain in ur notes, so i took the meter and found thers were no votage at the end of the adaptor."
Can u use your laptop with battery only? If not then try removing the battery and use the ac power only. If its ok then your battery need to be replaced. If not then i suggest replacing your ac power or both.

Here is a solution that may help ..its on my tips and tricks page.. give it a try and let ma know what happens .. follow the instructions as written though
possibly the safety system kicking in
step #1: remove the battery and all other external hardware
step #2: disconnect the power adaptor
step #3: press and hold the power button for 10-20 seconds
step #4: connect the power adaptor only! no battery!
step #5: press the power button to start system.
spet #6; If the system boots and you have video let it boot and run for 10 miniutes ... then shut down and reconnect the battery....
step #7: reboot system If system is still good repeat step#6
continue this process until all hardware is reconnected.....
This is very common among all laptops especially if they are connected to the adaptor for very long periods of time without using the battery. The process of holding the powerbutton with no energy to the laptop drains the power out of all of the capacitors on the system board and thus allows the system to boot normally once energy is reconnected.
