Question about Avaya Mid Span POE 6 PT AC Input W/ BackUp / (700253115)

Will cisco midspan work with AVAYA IP phones. We have connected AVAYA 9620 phones on CISCO midspan. But AVAYA phones were not getting power up we got only a flikering effect on the display of the phones.

No I don't think you can, there may be an adapter but, I am not too sure about that.

Why can't I connect my corporate Cisco IP Phone 7941 to a switch? I can connect a switch to Cisco phone switch and connect multiple devices. But the phone will only work when connected directly to the wall...
Connecting a hub or switch to the "PC" port on the back of the phone is not a recommended best practice by Cisco as the IP phone does not support spanning tree protocol.

Then you need power adapter for Cisco 7960 IP phone ( -40V DC).
Cisco phones work best with Cisco, and sometimes ONLY Cisco switches.

One question which voice gateway you will use for your 7960 VoIP phone calls to go through ?
(AT&T probably supports only their IP Phones with special and usually hidden settings from end user)

I would verify what the firrmware is of the phone. It is possible that the phones need to be upgraded.
