Hi,
There is dirt **** in the sloeniod water feed valve. To turn the water off you will need to find the water valve on the hot water piping that feeds to your dishwasher. Turn that valve off for now, Then you need to follow these tips to get to the soleniod valve and to order parts to fix the dishwasher. The replacement of this valve is fairly simple. You will just need some patience to work in the tight space under the dishwasher.

Most dishwasher should be hooked up to a hot water line. They do recommend that you run hot water in your sink before you start running your dishwasher.

Lg dishwasher water not hot

Hot water is introduced into the dishwasher from your regular hot water lines. If you are not getting hot water at your sink, that could be part of the problem. If the water in the machine is warm, you are getting feed from your house boiler, but the instant hot water coils in the dishwasher are not working. There may be a fuse panel for the coils that can be checked or, if not it is a wiring problem to the heat coils or the coils themselves burnt out.

Machine runs but doesn't allow water to come into machine

Don't know the history of your machine, sounds like possibly the hot water supply valve under your sink is turned off. To check this go under your kitchen sink and inspect water supply valves, (right side cold water) left side hot water valve feeds the machine. Vertical water line is for sink above, there should be a second water line coming off this valve that has its own on/off knob. Make sure this knob is turned on, (counterclockwise)if not sure turn it to the right (clockwise)till stops, then to the left till it stops. This allows hot water to enter dish machine. If valve is on and line is ok, there might be a kink in the line behind the dish machine or a restriction (clog) in the water line. May need to unplug machine and unsecure it to pull it out for inspection. Good luck, best regards.

Is the feed pipe a hot or cold feed?

Connect the dishwasher to the HOT water side. Although most dishwashers have a heating element to heat the water, they are normally installed this way to reduce the amount of time the heating element is on. This not only extends the life of the heating element, but also reduces the amount of electricity required to heat the water. Another helpful hint: Before you run the dishwasher, run the hot water tap until the water runs hot. This will fill the dishwasher with water that is already hot instead of the cold water that normally sits in the line after the hot water has not been run for a while. If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Not getting any water into the kitchen aid dishwasher

it could be the water inlet valve. that is definitely a DIY job. but first i would check out the float inside the machine. if it is stuck in the up position, no water will enter the machine. it will assume that it is already full of water. look for a small hat or cone on the bottom. make sure that it slides freely up and down. if it was stuck up, you will have just freed it and solved your problem. good luck

Is it OK to attach a hot water feed rather than cold water.

All dishwashers are suppossed to be connected to hot water. Who connected yours to cold water and why? Doesn't make any sense. Definately change it over to hot water feed.

Bosch SHU3300 dishwasher stuck on hot water intake (w/ no power)

It sounds like the fill vlave is stuck open. This can happen if your pressure is low or if the machine is old. I would start by replacing the vlave.

Indesit DIF04 integrated dishwasher

Dishwashers normally are hot or cold feed.
My wife runs water at the sink to get it hot going in before turning on the dishwasher.
You can use either cold or hot water.
We have ours hooked up to the hot water side.
They work better hooked up to the hot water.
