I would say one of 2 things is happening, the plunger is hanging up, try oiling it, or you may need a re-build kit.
I will need make, model and serial #.
Please let me know.

Gun fires 2 or 3 naiks everytime I pull trigger

Most nailers have two types of triggers available. One is a bump fire and the second is single shot that is activated by releasing the trigger, placing the contact foot against the work, then depress trigger. Bump fire trigger May fire two nails if you place then depress. Check your parts manual to determine which trigger is installed. (Some brands have built-in switch to activate bump) good luck

I have a Bostich coil roofing nailer #RN46-1 leaking air at trigger area when depressed. Replaced trigger assy but same results. Anything else it could be?

Sounds like your gun needs servicing. normally strip, clean and usually fit new O rings to head valve assy, piston & usually sleeve.

I have a paslode model IM250II 16 ga straight finish nailer that I bought used the gun fan and motor runs whin the trigger is pulled but it does not fire when the tip is pressed no pop no puff nothing I...

Fan running when trigger pressed is normal however to make it fire you need to press on the work probe first and the fan should start running, at this point the gas should be injected and pressing the trigger should create the spark to fire the gun, if all works as above but the gun won't fire check the gas, the metering valve on the can should have a yellow ring and when pressing the can nozzle on a hard surface, gas should be released, if not the can either has (a) insufficient gas, (b) the nozzle is not correctly fitted (c) the metering valve is faulty, if the can emits gas the gun will need to be checked for spark and the seals will need checking

Keeps repeating itself

Most nailers have a two position setting on the trigger to allow for single fire or bump fire. If set on bump fire, the gun will work better when you bump fire the gun instead of placing the gun on the work then depress trigger. Bump fire works best when safety spring has good tension. Easy test. Make sure that the safety spring is in place (with air hose removed, contact foot should spring back quickly when pushed against work). With air connected, hold trigger and quickly bounce the gun against the work. If the gun does not fire when you bump, the trigger is most likely set to single fire. With trigger set to single fire, you must place the gun against the work, then depress trigger. If the gun shoots two nails while set to single fire, most likely worn trigger or worn out trigger valve. These parts are not expensive and are easy to replace. Good luck

Plaslode im250 second fix nail gun fires intermittently. Gas is loading fine and trigger working only fires about one in every ten pulls of trigger

Hi,

Here is a tip that I wrote about the Paslode nailers and the problems that can come up with them.

I also have a link to the Paslode manuals which contain Paslode cleaning and troubleshooting guides.

If you need parts for your Paslode, there also is a link for a site that sells the Paslode nailer parts.

Paslode framer when you depress trigger there no resistance and it does not fire

Paslode framer has a lever inside of trigger that may be bent or missing. Easy to check. Remove air line and nails. Remove trigger by pulling pin. Check under trigger for missing parts. Test gun by connecting to air and place nose of gun against wood or hard rubber and then depress firing pin. If gun fires then problem is with lever under trigger or safety mechanism which is in two parts. Check safety for bent or broken piece, usually upper part will be missing lip that actually pushes on the lever. If however gun does not fire when firing pin is depressed, time for replacing orings in gun. Parts are available at www.toolpartsdirect.com . Good luck with your repair and post again if you have other questions.

98 Custom Act Paintball Gun: i want it to go fasteer...

I can take that a couple of ways. Do you mean you want to fire more balls per second or you want the paintballs themselves to fly faster?

If you want to fire faster, make sure it's clean and properly lubed with a quality oil that made for paintball. Practice makes perfect and fire that ****** as often as you can, even without paint (that's cheaper!) so you can get your trigger finger in shape.

There are custom mods to the trigger, or you can buy a trigger that's smoother or a shorter pull. There are electronic trigger assemblies that make firing faster even easier.

If you're talking about making the balls fly out of the gun faster, that would be the "velocity adjustment". Your user guide shows you how to make that adjustment and which direction is up, and which is down.

A good suggestion is to check out a local field or paintball store, or an airsmith and they can give you some definite ideas you will want to pursue.

Good luck!
