You might think twice if you happen to be the lucky owner of a laptop, because replacing the keyboard rather than repairing it could be a lot less expensive. Laptop keyboard replacement on this particular model is very easy and takes just a few minutes. Here is a quick Acer Aspire 7520G-502G25Mi Keyboard repair tutorial with step-by-step instructions. Once you have purchased the new keyboard, all you need to replace the old with the new is a screwdriver and something plastic, flat and thin like a credit card or guitar pick.
Step one: Remove the two screws from the bottom of the computer that are holding down the Acer Aspire 7520G-502G25Mi Keyboard bezel. The bezel is the bar that sits right above all the function keys.
Step two: Turn the computer over, open the cover and insert the credit card or guitar pick between the bezel and the laptop screen. The bezel has pegs that sit in holes, you need to slowly pry up the bezel. It will make a bit of a popping noise as it is removed.

Now flip the keyboard over and slide it down toward the touch pad and take the bezel and line the pegs up with the holes and push it in place. Then turn the computer over and replace the two screws you removed from the bottom. You can now power on your computer and see if the Acer Aspire 7520G-502G25Mi Keyboard works. If it is not working, more than likely the ribbon was not inserted properly.

1. Right Click on My Computer
2. Choose Properties
3. Device Manager
4. Delete all the hardware which appears under keyboard.
5. Reboot computer
6. Connect Keyboard.

If the keyboard is damaged or some keys are not functioning well. It is not repairable, but the whole keyboard can be replace by new one. Try to find computer repair shops that install new keyboard for your laptop. Normally, they have keyboard part in every computer. Good Luck.

There is not much you can do to repair your keyboard, but the good news is that they are not too expensive, and are easy to swap out, with a little effort. Usually they are $20 or less for a new laptop keyboard. I have swapped out dozens of them, and the instructions to replace them are available on the internet. If you are going to attempt this yourself, you need to get a replacement keyboard, and if you need step by step instructions, let this forum know. A computer shop can also swap your keyboard in about 10 minutes or less for a small charge too!

the keyboard is defective. I would suggest ordering one off ebay and getting a computer shop to install one

there are ways to replace laptop keyboards but it is expensive. try going to a computer repair shop, they may have a broken laptop with the same keys as yours. you can also get a external usb keyboard.

hi, you may need a new keyboard, had same problem on my acer 5100- i got another keyboard and was good again. i found one for about $15.00 at a local computer supply, but you may look on ebay or something. i hope this is useful to you,.glen.
