How to use lg writer gp50nb40 on mac

Just plug in the drive and burn away! Mac's do not require specific drivers or add-on software to read or burn disks. If there is a specific type of disk or media (Movie, Documents etc.) you want to burn let me know those specifics and I can let you know how to do it.

Undetected in mac

The interface in the case would seem to have failed. They are usually not the same standard as those used in a computer.

I have no power on my laptop but cord works on another mac so it doesn't appear to be the cord

WIthout knowing the models of Mac and AC adapter, I can't give you as much help as I would like. Apple AC adapters come in many power ranges (40W, 60W, 80W, etc.). Although the plugs on them are identical, the power supplies are not identical. If you try to use a low-rated power supply on a laptop that needs more power, it won't necessarily work.
The other possibility is that the power circuitry in your Mac is just bad. Try it with a different, known-good adapter compatible with your model of Mac. If it still doesn't work, your laptop will need repair.

My Mac will not turn on and only makes three loud beeps

Its ok, I know what you are experiencing so you should be able to get this issue resolved.

What 3 beeps indicate in the beep error code for Mac desktops, is a RAM error, possible bad RAM module on your Mac's logic board.

If you know how to open your Mac and know how to unseat your RAM cards safely, you can perform a process of elimination by removing all but one RAM module and starting your Mac up to see if it will boot to your desktop.

However, if that is too tedious or you are not tech saavy, you can simply take your Mac into your local Apple retail store Genius bar or local Apple-authorized service center and have them use a RAM/Memory tester to check the integrity of your RAM to determine if the RAM needs to be replaced or if it is just poorly seated and simply needs to be re -adjusted in its memory bank(s).

This is the best recommendation for actual hardware issues like this.

Took my hard drive out of my pc lap top because the mother board is fried and i bought the aluratek hard drive cover with usb connecter and mac compatible hooked it up to my mac lap top to transfer files...

The smart bit is irrelevant but you should be able to transfer your files off it OK.
I don't know how mac familiar you are but all you have to do normally is plug the drive in to a convenient USB port and plug in some power. (Some drive cases that don't have external power need to plug in to the computer with a special lead that has 2 USB clugs on one end.)
After 5-10 seconds the drive should pop up on the desktop, you can then open it and copy stuff off.
Where does this pop-up come from as I've not experienced one in years of Mac support.

Installation of a digital camera driver to a Mac

You shouldn't need to.  iPhoto should see it automatically.  Just plug the camera into the Mac's USB port and all should be OK.
