check for spark at plug squirt some starting fluid in it see if will start make sure kill switch not engaged sounds like valve isnt seating do a compression test should be 90 to 125 lbs
If your confident of a good spark, then your issue is fuel delivery. Try raising the slide needle by going down one notch on the needle. Jets and needle seats should be cleaned in a good quality carburettor cleaning solvent. Jets should be replaced if suspect. Check condition of reeds. Is the airbox and filter in good condition. Check for leaks around inlet manifold. Goodluck, cheers!
check simple things first like, spark plug, try a new one or the plug cap,a bad earth frame connection in relation to the ignition system, cdi unit earth, ecu frame earth etc, etc
1. check the kill switch.
2.check the resistances in the high tension coil. Primary around 0.6 ohm, secondary around 15~20k ohms.
3 . check the output source coil , black/red~ red/white it should carry about 20~ 28 ohms with an output of around 30 volts.
4. last but not least check the pulse coil. red~ green 85~ 115 0hms.Glad to help Red.
It is likely your jetting. If your plug is wet it's either way too rich or you are not running the engine hard enough to keep it cleaned out. The smaller 2-strokes don't like to be ridden calmly unless the jetting is spot on and even then they can load up. They were designed to be ridden hard.
This is a fairly easy thing to repair, but it's a bit complicated to learn.
I would suggest popping over to allthingsmoto (dot) com and poking around a little - tons of threads on the site about jetting and how to do it. You'll see me over there.
best spark plug is iridium plug, takes the heat and lasts alot more rides. could be flooded, take plug out , stick finger over hole , kick start till it drys out. take match stick and clean inside of plug, should be good. otherwise probably a fuel problem.
Check the side stand kill switch, battery, wire connections, neutral switch and clutch switch if your bike has one. If still no spark have the dealer check the electronic ignition.
