How to fix keyboard on my HP laptop?

If some keys are working, then replace the keyboard. If keys pulled off, they will clip back if done carefully.

If no keys are working, there might be a more general problem.

How to Repair, Replace and Change HP Laptop Keyboard

We are surprised that HP has done a nice job taking laptop market share from Dell and launching a slick marketing campaign using the slogan "the computer is personal again". Hewlett Packard laptop computers feature the functionality of a desktop computer in regard to their keyboards. However, because of size limitations, some laptops feature special keys that serve specific functions. Using these particular keys requires only the development of some new keyboard habits, like locating and pressing the "fn" button. With many HP laptops, the "fn" button is encircled.
When a key fell off the laptop keyboard, most likely you can fix the keyboard. It often comes: using a small dab of super glue to replace keys that have fallen off and then placing a small dab of glue directly on the round part that holds the key in place and lightly press the key down. When the glue dries, you’ll be able to use your laptop again.
However, not all problems can be fixed this way, and a keyboard replacement for a laptop may be necessary. Besides, this is not an overly complex process on an HP laptop just with simple steps.
Step 1 Power down your HP laptop and Flip over the HP laptop and locate the RAM section. Press the HP battery release lever and pull the battery out of the laptop. To remove the battery on most laptops, you'll just push a release tab and pull the battery out of the connectors, but with some you'll have to remove screws. You'll know what to do once you get ready to disconnect the battery.
The RAM section is in the bottom center of the back of the machine. Use your Phillips-head screwdriver and remove the two screws securing this cover. Remove the cover.
Step 2 Use your Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the rest of the keyboard-related screws on the back of the laptop. There are three silver screws and five black screws to take out. The three silver screws each have a keyboard icon printed next to them. The other five screws are aligned at the top of the laptop back and beneath the battery.
Step 3 Use a flathead screwdriver to pop up the HP Keyboard shield. Wiggle it under each side of the shield and carefully pop it up. The shield is located at the top of the front of the laptop (just above the keyboard itself). Place it aside and out of the way, since this shield can be easily damaged or warped after it is removed.
Step 4 Pull up on the keyboard carefully and slowly. Do not pull all the way; otherwise, you may damage the cable underneath. There is a keyboard cable holding the keyboard in place. De-attach it from the unit by locating the connector beneath the keyboard. Flip the connector lock into the up position and disconnect the cable. Remove the keyboard.
Step 5 Take the new keyboard and attach the keyboard cable to the connector, and push the connector down. Slide the new keyboard in. Replace the keyboard shield.
Step 6 Turn the HP laptop back over. Replace the set of five black plastic screws, and then the three silver screws. Replace the RAM cover.
A quick notes, when you unscrew the screw on the bottom of the laptop, just remove the screw with a "keyboard icon", not unscrewing every screw you see!

I'm looking for a new Quanta WJ7 Armand Motherboard for my HP Omni 120-1034.

You're going to have to find it on eBay, you won't find it "new" but you can find it un-used or in good condition. Laptop parts aren't usually sold by the big boys for many reasons, they make more money just selling the laptops, and make a lot more money by fixing what can't be fixed by any one standard individual.

I already found a few mobos for you on eBay, this is no kidding pretty much the only way you will find a mobo for it. :p

HP G62 laptop the "a"

You can pull the key from the keyboard by wiggling it back and forth and pulling gently, like a loose tooth. One it's out, you can position the key back onto the spot where it belongs and then push it on. It may take a few tries, but as long as the connector isn't broken, you should be able to get it back on.

HP dv2500 laptop keyboard issues

to remove the keyboard, you have to remove all the screws on the bottom that have picture of a keyboard next to them. theres usually 3 but there may be more.

Then on the top, you have remove the plastic bezel that runs along the top of the keyboard where the bottons are. There may be a screw that holds it down from the back so be carefull and pry it gently.

The keyboard can then be lifted out. lift slowly as the keyboard and mouse attach with a small data ribbon and you will need to remove it. This of course may not help you as the keyboard has a back to it.

It may be simpler to just pop off the key with the problem and then pull out the object thats under it.

Using compresed air to blow it out would be what i would try first though.
