BOSCH DISHWASHER Loss of power

Model No.SGS43A52 DISHWASHER About 3-yr old.

Was working perfectly - no problems. Stopped - no power, it would seem. Checked fuse at at wall - OK. No Blockage in water line or filter and water supply is fine.

Is there some switch in the machine that could have tripped?

Model No.SGS43A52 DISHWASHER About 3-yr old.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. The problem appears to be the control unit/ programmer. Power is actually getting as far as the unit but no lights come on and nothing works. Can this unit be repaired - even to leave one program working as that is all that is used normally? (Some staining on cover indicating burning inside).
    - a replacement unit is about 40-50% of the cost of a new machine!!

I have this same issue.  My model is SHU33....  I figured it *must* be the control unit (though I didn't see any burning, as you mentioned).  The unit simply stopped one day near the end of a cycle (didn't finish draining).

I have a circuit tester that beeps when it detects current.  I checked that when I hit the power switch, electricity is sent all over through the rest of the door panel.  But no sounds, no lights, no action.  I figured that the control unit was bad so I ordered a new one (it was very hard to find).

But when I connected it and hit the power switch, still no action!! Dang!  So what am I missing?

Hi, I am having this same problem. I have checked for current all through the door switches and it gets to the control panel. I am wondering if there is a thermal fuse or switch in the machine, that has tripped? @At sea and @sdhull Did either of you figure out what had happened?

Usually in these it is the wire connections to the machine. turn the breaker off, then take the toe kick off behind the toe kick right side is the terminal box take the cover off, and check for a poor connection most times it pretty obvious. this is usually just caused because of a poor connection when the unit was installed. If there damaged just clean them up and reconnect then check machine

Well there is no real way to repair the control module, don't know where you would get a schemaqtic of the control itself. Not sure which specific model you are refering to either missing the engineering code should have like UC/12 or somethingthing at the end of the model. But if you are sure it is the Electronic control board and the machine is under 5 years of age it carries a part warranty from the manufactuer, but you have to use an authorized service provider for that. A look at the control prices straight from Bosch for this series only run 85.00-100.00 for the control itself https://portal.bsh-partner.com/portal(bD... go to this link you will have to get the remaing numbers for your D/W to find the correct control

from that link go to service then quickfinder then enter your model number

This is a long shot but on some dishwashers and washing machines if the drain pump is faulty the machine will not power on. Not saying it's the case with yours but easy to check and nothing to lose

No power

Hi lushman001

I'm Harvey the Master Plunber.

Your question is: your 3-yr-old dishwasher (Whirlpool 24-inch ) stopped in mid-cycle. A small amount standing water in the bottom of the washer. None of the control panel buttons were lit up and none of them will work. NO POWER

First check all the breakers (or fuses).
Second check the electrical connections. If you're not a qualified electrician or service tech then call one. It"s under the unit behind the kickplate.

The controller board is burned out...common problem on this model. Only way to fix is to replace with a new one. Cost of part is about $130.

Ldf 7811ST dishwasher

ok if that's the correct code then it will likely be a communication problem between the motor and control panel ie loose wire broken wire resistance on the touch pad control ribbon which can be cleaned with a pencil eraser by the way or something along those lines the control just thinks the motor is bad because it cant communicate with it maybe

Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

Bosch SHU3306UC dishwasher stopped

Make sure you visit the Bosch dishwasher recall website as this model is under the recall with a faulty controller which may cause a fire! Check your model under http://microsites.boschappliances.com/safetyrecall/dishwasher/
then call 800.856.9226 to setup a recall repair appointment. We just found out about this recall and was never notified by Bosch even though we registered our unit after we purchased it...talk about poor customer service! Hope this helps!
