Use system restore and not the recovery.

Start button, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore,
pick,, choose a different restore point,, next,, check ,,show more restore
points, find the oldest point and see if this is ok, then left click on it
and highlight it and click next.

Keeps rebooting

there are many reasons, why this happens, try this instead, if this will help. boot to recovery, depending on your tablet, for android, turn off your tablet, then while turned off, press volume up and power same time till you see your tablets logo, wait until it opens recovery, then select wipe data/factory reset. this will bring back the tablet to its original state or factory default settings, after a wipe, select reboot system, the tablet will turn on again, loading the settings like the first time you bought it, and see if that helps.

I wont to restart from factory

Save any files or folders on your Acer Aspire One with flash drives.
Drag and drop files onto the icon of your flash drive. Go to "Start" > "Restart" to reboot your netbook. Hold down "Alt" and "F10" when you see the Acer logo on the screen. The recovery menu will load. Hit "Enter" and then "Next" to see your recovery options. Choose "Factory Restore" to set your netbook back to factory settings. Follow the instructions on the screen. Choose your time zone and language when the customization menu appears. Reboot the netbook when you are prompted. Restore your saved files from the flash drive. or Click on the Start menu. Then, select all programs, Acer Empowering Technology and Acer eRecovery Management. If this is the first time you have opened the program it will prompt you to set up a password and create a backup CD. Click the Restore button and select the option that reads "Restore system to factory defaults". Wait for the computer to finish the restore process and reboot. Restoring for the Boot Screen If your computer will not boot up properly, you can attempt to reach the restore option by pressing the Alt button and the F10 button at the same time. When the eRecovery menu appears, choose "restore system to factory defaults". Wait for the recovery process to complete and the computer to restart

I want to set it back to default factory settings

There should have been a recovery disk created or included when you bought a laptop. Insert disk if you have it and restart your computer with the recovery disk in the CD drive. Make sure all your documents and personal data are backed up. When the computer restarts it should start restoring your computer to the factory default. There will be a wizard to guide you through the process.
If there is no disk or got lost, then follow this steps:
1.Save any files or folders on your computer with flash drives. Drag and drop files onto the icon of your flash drive.
2.Go to "Start" > "Restart" to reboot your netbook.
3.Hold down "Alt" and "F10" when you see the logo on the screen. The recovery menu will load.
4.Hit "Enter" and then "Next" to see your recovery options. Choose "Factory Restore" to set your computer back to factory settings. Follow the instructions on the screen.
5.Choose your time zone and language when the customization menu appears. Reboot when you are prompted.
6.Restore your saved files from the flash drive.

if you think i've been of help, then pls.vote and if further question about it,i'm always open to help..goodluck and godbless

I have an acer aspire 3680 laptop. It's been my teenage daughters computer to go online for home school. I recently wanted to delete everything back to factory (since they downloaded songs, games, etc..)....

Do you have the recovery disk when you buy the unit? if so, you dont need to burn the cd... insert the recovery cd then reboot from the cd... follow the steps...

If you dont have the recovery then you cant make a recovery cd.. Format Your Laptop with a new version of windows...

this will help...
