How do i download photos from my droid to my PC

if you are connected with a usb cable then you can open up the pics folder and drag the folders from phone to your pc. If you plug in your phone it should give you the option to view files. If you are not able to then you can download the bitpim program for free from bitpim dot org or the verizon site has their own program as well.

Downloaded mp3s from amazon and now can't find on phone and says memory on phone is full

You must move the music files to the appropriate folder on your micro card. move all the music to the "sounds" file. Your phone is not set up to read the entire card, just the folder associated with the application being used. If this doesn't work out, then copy the entire card to your desktop and format the card while inside your phone from your phones menu. Now insert the card and select, open to view files. you can now locate the appropriate file and paste the songs you would like to have on your mobile device.

Good Luck And

P.S. Look carefully at the layout of your card from the "view folder" option when your computer recognizes it. You should see one called DCIM........open it and you will see a folder for the other options in your phone. You MUST place the files in the folder that your media player reads from. It will be either "Music", "Sounds", or some other name that is related to music or sound.

Cant install java games

  1. Transfer the .jar & .jad files to the Other Files folder. You can transfer the files using Samsung PC Studio Phone Explorer, or you can transfer the files to the memory card and move them to the Other Files folder from the phone's menu.
  2. Exit all menus and Dial: *#9998*4678255# - This will activate the Java Install menu.
  3. On your phone, Go to the Other Files folder >> Select the .jad file >> Press Options (Left touch key) >> Message displays: Do you want to install >> Press Yes to install.

I just bought a sandisk memory card and I dont know how to put music in it with my adapter to put in my phone

Furst, put it in the phone and format it. It will create the My Music folder, along with others.
Now remove it from the phone and put it in your PC. You should see the folders and all you have to do is drag your MP3 files to the My Music folder. When you're finished, put it back in your cell and it will read the music files in the My Music folder.

How do i transfer music from my computer into my lg vantage

I don't know what LG does, but my poor man's file transfer for my motorola was to format the micro SD card so it created my music folder, then I dragged mp3 files to that folder and inserted the memory into my cell.

I see that the Vantage has provisions for a micro SD, so I guess you can do the same. I grabbed a 512 MB with adapter for $8 at the local general store.

Hi, Welcome to FixYa

This document is also available in PDF format (this PDF has higher qualify images and a password and is not free. It requires purchase, with your purchase, you will receive the HEX file for Raptor Pro that's mentioned in this web page) for easier viewing and printing.

RSS Carrier + iDENPro
fc55141.jpg
Phone Power: On
i-DEN phones are made by Motorola. They use SIM cards and look like GSM phones, but they are not GSM. The most popular iDEN network in the US is Nextel (now with Sprint) and Boost (owned by Nextel)
For most i-Den phones, use the RSS Carrier to put the phone RSS-SIM mode. Then use iDEN Pro.
It is recommended that you use the USB cable for Motorola iDEN phone when using RSS carrier and iDEN pro. Pay attention, the iDEN cable is very similar to the Motorola V600 cable, but a bit wider. So be careful not to confuse them.

RSS Carrier is useful for reading either the six-digit or four-digit phone or user security code. However, the actual unlocking of the Service Provider lock is done with iDEN Pro software.
Once you connected the phone, some times it will prompt you to install the driver, just follow the instruction and install it automatically. If it does not work, try to manually install the driver from the directory, which the Motorola RSS is located.
Assuming the driver has been successfully installed already. You should open the RSS Carrier software, click on File and Read Phone. This should put the phone into RSS-SIM mode.
Now you can exit RSS. Open the iDEN Pro software, and wait for it to detect the phone. Then click on Script | Open Script. Open a file under the iDEN Pro directory called “command3.txt” and then go to Script | Run Script. The phone should restart after the script is finished. Now test with a different SIM card.
Raptor Pro For a long time, Raptor Pro was not updated and stopped supporting any phones newer than the i405. However, recently the Raptor Pro’s hex file has been updated to support almost all i-DEN phones on the market. To unlock, i-DEN i880, i885, Raptor Pro (keep in mind the Hex File can be found under C:\Program Files\Raptor Pro\Hex File) has to be updated to support this type of phone. Make sure a SIM card is insider the phone and the phone should be on and ask for a special subsidy code. Then you should connect the phone using serial cable on COM1 and run Raptor Pro. It will take few minutes and give you the unlock code. It should be the first one. After getting your unlock code, try to put it into your phone with a different SIM.

Tip Some times when a person insert a different SIM and has entered the incorrect unlock code more than few times, the phone will show “Enter Special Code, Please Wait” or “Contact Service Provider”. In this case, you need to wait up to one hour for the phone to allow you to enter the unlock code again.

Thank you for using FixYa. Have a nice day and please remember to rate this solution as FixYa if it helped you.
