Did you icons get big too? Pressing Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Scroll with make your icons bigger (also Right-Click > View > Large, Medium, Small). Did your resolution change? In Windows 7 and 8, you can check your resolution by right-clicking on the Desktop and select "Personalize". From there, select "Display" located to the lower left of the window. This should show you three options: Smaller, Medium, Larger. Choose the one you like the best. From here you can change your computers Resolution by clicking "Adjust Resolution" and select the one that shows you the most screen that you are able to still read. Most websites are designed to a minimum of 1024 by 768, so I would select at least that.

I was using my computer and it automatically changed the size smaller. need help in getting it back bigger. Thanks harvey derek@homail.com

You may have changed the screen resolution to a higher setting, (which is not always a bad thing so long as you can see it properly)-- try opening System Preferences (probably in the dock in the lower right-- but if not, it is located in the Utilities folder, which is inside the Applications folder) and open the Displays pane. Here, you can adjust your screen resolution to a lower ("bigger") setting, i.e. one of the options closer to the top of the list.

How to increase font size on my macbook permanently.

When you are on the finder Click View, scroll down to 'show view options' and from there you can change the font size looks on the desktop. You can even make the folders bigger.

To make the font bigger for folders open the desired folder you want and go to the view menu and like above goto the "show view options' option and when the window pops up you can adjust the font size.
I also suggest dropping your screen resolution to a lower number. That can be found by clicking the apple, going to system preferences and click displays under the hardware header. From there move the resolution down to 1280 x 800 or 1024 x 768. But for screen legibility and such I would not drop the resolution any farther than 1024 x 768.

Hope that helps!

The picture is too big for the screen. The four buttons will only adjust colour and contrast - not size

To adjust the screen size (resolution) you have to right click on an empty place on Desktop, select Properties and then Settings. Under screen resolution change it to more, until it shows under it 1024x768, or even bigger if you want and it is possible.

My computer dekstop theme is small and this synchronize

Are you saying that your resolution on your screen is small?
Try Right Clicking on the desktop and choosing properties. Then click on the settings tab on the right and this will show you the resolution of your monitor.

That is what it should look like. The screen resolution shown here is for wide screen monitors.
Try changing the resolution by sliding the bar across to the left that will make everything look bigger.
Try a few and see which you think is best.
Thanks

Display is huge

In changing the display settings did you change the resolution? If not, then set the resolution to a lower setting, apply, then set it back to where it was. If you've done this, then uninstall the video drivers from the device manager, and reboot. This will fix any driver glitch that may be causing it. At this point, if the problem persists, connect an external monitor and ty adjusting the resolution on it. If you cannot adjust it on the external then the video car has malfunctioned, if you can, then check Acer's support site for any updated video drivers, or patches for the current.
