You will need to go to the motherboard maker website or give them a call
(Asus/Gigabyte/Intel/ECS/Biostart/MSI..etc)

If you have the model name i can help you find the website page

How to check my gigabyte mother board under warranty?

hi.there...

i read from your information and picture about your motherboard type..i think yours is not under warranty from factory anymore (GIGABYTE)

for additional information your mainboard (MB) is using old type of intel chip set (Intel 865 series) and only support intel processor type Pentium 4 with 478 pin with 533 MHz bus processor..

talking about warranty from factory GIGABYTE only give 3 years warranty only for MB with minimum chipset intel ICH 7 and up..that's mean MB must be support processor minimum 775 pin and 1155 pin or support intel Pentium D,Dual Core,Core2Duo or Core i series...

hope this is can help to solve your problem..

CMOS load error

Hi j5recs ,

  1. If this error says cmos checksum error defaults loaded , then you can try pressing and f1 key and it should load your system.
  2. If you get this error repeatedly , it means that the battery on your motherboard needs to be replaced.
  3. This could be as a result of CMOS crash, all you need to do , is to get the motherboard to an authorized service center for Intel so that they will load the CMOS for you once again and your motherboard should work fine, if *********** board is under warranty you can even get a replacement for this one.Hope this helps.
Hope this helps.

Intel desktop board d85gvfn/d845pemy is not

i had the same problem with a couple of my motherboards before. Your best bet is to got to www.intel.com, go to the support section, and email support team with your problem. If the motherboard is still under the warranty, all you will have to pay is shipping cost to INTEL. that;s how i got mine fixed before. hope this helps

My dell d630 keps frezing and crashing. I have been told that there was a motherboard fault from dell on this laptop. the warranty has run out. Can I repair or get a replacement board?

Yes you can get a replacement board and no it doesn't have to be from Dell.

2 things to ensure. 1) Replacement has same CPU socket. 2) Takes same memory.

Problem with intel mother board

If the problem is definitely in the motherboard and it's still under warranty, follow the manufacturer's process for getting the board serviced or replaced. Here's Intel's page for warranty support.

Intel motherboard

Intel gives 3 years warranty with every new motherboard purchased. If you have purchased this motherboard during this 3 year period then you are eligible for a free repair or replacement.
To claim, just take your board back to where you purchased it. They can take care of the rest.
Thank you.

Vga display problem

There is one pin/wire on the VGA connector that translates to the color red on your screen. If you aren't seeing any red, I would suspect that there is damage to the integrated VGA connector on the motherboard, or a component failure in the circuit.

These are great desktop boards.

The Video bus on these boards are shared between the integrated (onboard) video card and port and the AGP slot. This means that you can only use one or the other. When you install an AGP card in the slot it overrides the integrated video including your problem.

If you are good with electronics I'd take a look at the board under the scope and look for damage.

I would rist check with intel on the warranty. You may be surprised. I've had several of these replaced via RMA through intel. They are a bit older but still by desktop board of choice.

Motherboard replacement

Only you have the information concerning the board. You did not list anything here. You do not need our permission to have your board replaced by Intel. Of course Intel does have to give you their permission. Check your manual.
