    SOLTEK has gone bankrupt.

    Their web-site is "down".

So, there is *NO* "support" available from SOLTEK.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: gigabyte motherboard connection front panel to motherboard?

Have you reseated them properly? Did you have the power connected still when you took them out and put them back in? If you had power still plugged in you have probably fried the ports.

I cant install audio device for mb gigabyte 945gcmx i have such cd to install it what can i do to install it

though itz unclear to me of wat os u r using..
assuming that u r using win xp pro sp2..n directx installed..
howevr, download microsoft kb888111 update n install it..u need to re-install or update the device driver (may b manually)..logon to internet n seek the package/audio driver..along wid the company, there will b a list of such site n driver download links if u search by the model name on a search engine like google..
download them onto a location; if the driver is in a zip format, unzip it,if itz in .exe form, just run it; if done manually it'll ask for the correct driver and location; relocate the path and a .inf file (wat it'll ask for)....goto the device manager n verify, if installed properly..!!
also download n install k-lite mega codec pack....

if not fixed try using a standby pci snd card..
but always better to consult ur system admin/vendor..!!

Allright I'll try to make it simple, but it's a tricky way wich works all the time.
First I tried to check out their site, because I didn't hear about these guys nowdays, but could't find their site, this site shows tehir contact details, but both sites are down and there's anything but a motherboard manufacturer's site at it's links. Hope you know their real website address.
You can try to open up the Case and search for the biggest sign on the moterboard, but let's say that they didn't because sometimes they forget to put a sign.
Somethimes they give you a splashscreen by default and whan system is booting up it's showing you till windows starts to load, if you don't have that maybe you disabled it in the bios, or if it's nowhere than our little mission is starting to go serious.
Next best try is to try out CPU-Z, just extract the zip in to a folder and start the program, you should run it as administrator, because it's searching deep in your computer for you, after a few secs of loading the program starts and you can see the mainboard type in the mainboard tab.
Let's say that it can't tell you your motherboard type than if you have the chipset shown just go to the chipset manufacturer's site go to their support or driver download site and search for it.
It could be mostly Intel, VIA, Sis, Nvidia Nforce, but if it's something else just google it.
If you have some extra problems because your sound card, or lan card or whatever is missing it's driver as well, because it's integrated on to the motherboard and windows update can't help you out with it, or it's driver is a crappy one than what you need is Lavasys Everest, just install it and start it.
Go to devices/windows devices.
I know it looks much like windows device manager, but it's not that, it's better.
Select the device wich has a question mark or you don't know it for sure, but you know that it needs a driver. copy the 'Hardware ID' and use google to find out what is it, than go to the chipmanufacturer's page and get the driver from their support.

Like for example:
If you figure out, there's a Realtek HD audio chip on your motherboard search for realtek on google, you'll find out that their site is "".
On their site go to downloads in that section all you need is to know what you are looking for, in this case it's:
HOME > Downloads > Computer Peripheral ICs > PC Audio Codecs > High Definition Audio Codecs >
And you can download the specific driver for your OS.

Easy as that and it works all the time.

Hope this will help you out

Soltek motherboard model SL-75MRN-L

Soltek used the VIA Rhine II/III LAN chips. You should be able to obtain the drivers at VIA's website; If not, consider sending them an e-mail to obtain them.

Well, you will need the model # at least, as it seems Soltek is no longer a viable company on the internet, i.e. no website that can claim to a manufacturer website.
But if you can deliver the motherboard Model #, chances are we can find a driver that will work for you.
