I have a gameshark I bought used when I put any game with the gameshark the LED on the gameshark shows the number eight. How can I fix or resolve this issue.


This is bad that might mean the the game shark is broken the for this to occur so you will have to buy a new game shark then.

nothing to do but to insert the game you selected. If it is agameshark pro you mightbe able to plug it into the computer and download the n64 utilis

Gameshark 3.2 trouble


If this is the cartridge type.. try cleaning the part where you insert it into the system, with a cue tip and rubbing alcohol. It's possible that it may have gunk in it. Let it dry before you put in the game.

Gameshark and other cheat codes have a tendency to mess up or freeze the games. This is usual.

Nintendo 64 quit after using a gameshark


It might be Karma. Wait, super nintendo cartridges, you mean from the SNES? that might be the problem. Or it could have died from old age. you might try to buy another n64 without all of the cables, and just replace the one you have.
