No power to the top drawer needs to be verified.

Are you saying the lights are blank and when you press the start buttion nothing happens?

One reason the controller can shut the power is that the heater overload protection thermal resistor has opened. Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to replace the entire heater plate at the bottom of the drawer.

To confirm if the controller is operational or not, press Keylock and Start/ Pause button together for 5 sec (press Keylock first) and see if the Lights light up. If nothing happens then either the power has shutoff as mentioned above or controller is faulty.

Fisher paykel DD609 diswasher - top draw does not drain properly. Water build up in bottom of the top draw even when bottom draw is used.

It is usually due to a small piece of broken glass or plastic blocking the little propellor that pumps the water out, (think of the little paddle in Nemo's tank)
You need to remove the bottom of the machine, undo one screw and twist the pump free, fairly easy, but make sure you turn the power off first. The outlet hose and pump will then be accessible, have a look in and turn the paddle with a screwdriver, bet you will find something blocking it. Shake it out and reassemble

TOP DRAW VERY TIGHT TO OPEN AND CLOSE AND NO POWER TO TOP DRAW

The power filter board at the base of the dishwasher (under the bottom drawer) has a fault which shuts power to top drawer. The drawer is tight because lid seal actualtor motors are not operting due to lack of power, Try not to push too hard as the lid seal will be damaged.

Needs a technician to fix it unless you are good at handling dishwasher repairs. This is a very difficult one to handle for the non professional. The power board is about $100 to buy,

Top draw beeping delay and water not draining

Not sure what you mean by beeping "delay" I am not sure if there is any such light on the dishwasher. The HRS DELAY is displayed on the LCD when dishwasher has been set in delayed start mode. Are you seeing this flashing in an orange background? There could be several reasons for water not draining. Does the beeping go away if you press the power on/off button? Also does the delay flashing stop. Have you checked to see nothing is blocking the drain pump which is the same rotor that drives the washer arms.. What about the kitchen down pipe - is it clear? If you think you have to take the drawers out to reach the drain hose then follow instructions on page 7 step 2 of the installation manual. It is for a later model but your one should be similar. Make sure you turn the mains power off when working inside the dishwasher.

Hi just read your posting. Now there are a couple of reasons that the draw does not power up.The first is the element to heat the water is open circuit,The second the control board is faulty or your wiring is faulty. The last is your lid activator board is faulty.Do you have or can borrow an electrical test meter so when can test for power at the control board and test your element for continuity.Hope this helps. Please reply for further help.

Top draw 'locked' no power

try holding the power & start button down at the same time for about a minute ,if that doesnt work it must be the wiring. if it does work push the power button a few times til it goes back to the wash cycle time.

Rinse cycle on top drawer keeps turning on

You have a leak due to the Lid seal leak.
1- Unplug the power, then pull out top draw half way and
2-Touch the bottom top housing ( not bottom top draw) you will feel it wet. Try to dry it by stick in a towel.
3- Repeat the same for the bottom drawer.
After drying out, wait for at least 1 day so the sensor can be dried out then plug in the Power, you will be fine.
4- Contact me for the next step.

I have a battery draw problem in my 96 eagle talon. It's not the alternator.I've got it narrowed down to 2 fuse's the ignition and engine fuse. when I pull both fuse's I loose the draw. one or the other I...

If you still get current drawing when car is turned off, you will have to start pulling electrical connectors and checking for draw. If no change, connect, and go to next connector, repeating until the draw stops, this is the bad component.
I would start with any aftermarket electrical components. Alarm's, radio's, etc. Then I would disconnect and check for draw on any component that get's power when car is off. Horn, light's, brake light switch (usually located towards top of brake pedal), radio, cigarette lighter, etc...Disconnect each component separately and check for current draw.

Fisher & paykel double dish drawer top draw just beeps...

The controllers get very brittle & can break away from their housing, the reason it's rapidly beaping is because it thinks the door is open. PLEASE TURN IT OFF FIRST AT THE POWER POINT. Take the front draw panel off by pulling the plugs situated on the front behind the draws, the controller is at the top right hand side if it is loose then thats the problem, double sided tape will work but lots of it or try a wedge type arrangement. I know this is an old post but people refer to these for solutions much later.
