Adjusting clock brightness on electric range.

Very few ranges have any type of display dimming. Dacor is the only one I know of. If the display is very dim and hard to read, you will need to replace the clock or Electronic Oven Control. If the range is still under warranty, call Whirlpool and request service.

I have a whirlpool washer Mod/wfw9750ww and i am trying to do my laundry but the machine showes F24 and doesn,t work. what is this one and how can i fix this problem?

"F24" code refers to a water temp sensor. For some reason it is reading a out of range temp. The range is (23 F- 217F degrees). It is hard to read a sensor because the sensors reading varies with the temperature that surrouunds it. However if you unplug the machine and remove the bottom panel iin front. Located under the tub section you will see wires attached to the heater and the sensor. These parts are attached to the tub right up front. Check and replace if necessary.

My whirlpool s21w2d freezer is working ok, but refrigerator is not cool

The place to start is in the freezer..Is there ice on the back freezer panel? the freezer cools the refrig section and if froze over..the air will not flow to ff section. we have to make sure the coil is not frosted over...this is the most likely fault...the damper that lets air into the ff section can also be froze and not openning..if you have digital readout you can be sure you have electric damper...See if you feel air flow out of vent in top left corner of ff section. if no air or very little.. look for the freezer coil being froze or the damper stuck shut...of coarse, the freezer fan may not be running or coming up to speed...I use a skewer or something like that to slide it thru the damper and wiggle it around until it slips in further..this opens the damper and lets air in if its bad of coarse...the fix would be..leave it open with skewer until you buy a new damper...if froze up in freezer..defrost with hair dryer and find what caused freeze up situation. This is where you need a little more experience working with multi-meters. UNPLUG and check reading to heater and to defrost thermostat..if ok, the defrost timer is at fault.

The temperature reading on our 1998 convection oven model FE5387CFSA is faint and difficult to read. Is there a fix to make it brighter and more readable?

There is only way to correct the problem that you are having with the faint read out on this range. You will have to replace the control panel that is burning out.

Whirlpool Gold Range Error code EO F2

On this website: , it shows all of the codes for the Whirlpool errors. Based on the remarks, if it shows a "4 digit failure code" it is "Shorted keypad"
"Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock (ERC)"

But verify this as I am not an appliance repair specialist. I am a computer nerd who just knows how to find information. I am actually trying to figure out an answer to my own problem with my Whirlpool Gold Accubake.

Dim Panel Lites

Only fix is to replace display board. This may be a seperate board, but often is part of the range control board.
