Try resetting the PS3. To do this, turn it off completely. Then hold down the power button on the PS3 for around five seconds. It'll beep and hopefully reset the video settings to work properly. Good luck!
Are you putting the cable into the correct audio and visual ports? check to make sure. Also, IF you have the little box that switches it from HD to analog tv is turned to the proper setting...if you have HD then make sure its on the HD. If you dont get any help on here you may check to see if you have any warranty on it and see where to take it to get it serviced.. hope it helps!
ARe you getting sound?I suspect it might have flipped to hd or back to standard def, depending which setting you originally had it on Try holding down the power button when you turn it on, untiil you hear 2 beeps, this should reset the visual settings on the ps3
You need to make sure you have the right video cords. There's Component style where you have to plug the six colors in. There's regular A/V with the yellow, white, and red, the yellow is your visual. SOLUTION: Try to buy a set of cables called the RF style which is the kind of cord that plugs into your coaxial (cable port). The cords cost $10 at a Gamestop, this should fix your video problem.
I think there is a button on the bottom left of the bottom touchscreen where when you turn on the system even if there is no picture you should be able to tap it and change the screens brightness just by pressing this button. Its in the very bottom left corner
Do you have sound? and what are the cables set on HDTV or TV? If its set to HDTV and you dont have an HDTV then the picture will just be snowy and you will hear the sound of that game, just no picture. If this isnt it then it is your scaler chip which is an issue that MS needs to take care of or if you have a replacement plan you can use that as well.
