Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9549L Top Load Washer

Only works in Casual / Perm Press mode

My Ultimate Care II was only working in Casual / Perm Press mode. Normal and Delicate modes didn't work at all. As of tonight, none of the modes work and the washer has ceased functioning. I have a washer full of water and clothes that won't drain or wash. How do I drain it? What might the fix be?

Sounds like the timer is faulty you will have to have it replaced.
there is no easy way of emptying it, you will have to bucket the water out. you could try siphoning it out using the drain hose but i don't think you will have any luck.

When you replaced the motor coupler, did you remove the wiring harness from the motor? If you did, then check to see if you bent a pin aside on the motor when you plugged it back in. I have done this numerous times myself.

Amana washer only works on delicate cycle

Open the control panel. Unplug the timer and then plug it back in good and firm.
If it does not work correctly after that,
Replace your timer.

Kenmore washer aggiates slower than when new. is

Usually, there are two agitator modes. A Normal ("Fast") mode, and a delicates ("Slow") mode. Put washer in 'delicates' cycle and see if the agitator slows down even further. If it stays at same speed as in perma press or 'normal' mode, then there is an open in the circuit betwixt the controller dial and the agitator control.
