Question about Brother CS-8072 Computerized Sewing Machine

1 Answer

Brother sewing machine # CS 8072 part

I believe there must be a presser foot for ROLLED HEMS which is made by Brother Sewing machines or another manufacturer whjich would allow a rolled hem in one step. Other machines allow this using a straight stitch and a foot with a curved fabric guide.

Please advise me here this can be obtained. This simply cannot be impossible since it is a feature of almost all machines, no matter the price range.

Thank you,

When I thread my machine and start sewing my bobbin thread gets a huge nest underneath and knots underneath my fabric. What am I doing wrong?

It is your top threading, totally rethread, then with presser foot up, pull on top thread, it should feed smoothly, now put the presser foot down, pull thread, it should barely move. This should seat the thread in the tension discs.

Can't get buttonhole setting

To the left of the presser foot, there is a plastic button hold guide that must be puled down in order to sew a button hole. Make sure the arm is pulled completely down and placed behind the guide on the foot. There's pictures in the manual, or you can find the manual on-line at brother.com. I hope that helps!

The thread off the bobbin gets jammed everytime. How can I fix th

It sounds like you are not threading the machine properly. The best way is to make sure the presser foot is in the up position. This keeps the tension disc open and the thread slides into the tension easier. Also make sure you have the bobbin in and threaded correctly into the bobbin case.
