Yes, if your computer has two or more usb ports available. Plug each individual usb thumb drive into its own usb port. Open up explorer and verify which usb drive has the information on it and then copy all of the information (select all & copy) now drag and drop to the other usb port that contains the thumb drive you want to put the info onto. Each usb port will identify itself with a seperate drive letter.

You can also cut and paste instead of drag and drop.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do I download the info from a tower to a laptop

There are three ways that you can download information from your tower to your laptop.
1. The first way is to copy all of the items that you want to transfer in your email and then send via email. Open on the laptop and drag all items to a folder or the desktop.
2. Buy an external hard drive. Connect it to the desktop PC through a USB port. Transfer all of your data there and then unplug the USB from the desktop and plug it into your laptop. Go to my computer and then click the drive that you just plugged in and then all of your information will be there for you to transfer to your laptop.
3. The final way to do this would be to plug a simple USB into the tower and then transfer for all the information there and then plug it into the laptop and click my computer. And click on the USB which is usually named travel drive and all of your information will be there to access from your laptop.

> connection mode
The player can operate in either MSC or MTP mode.

MSC = Mass Storage Class, seeing the player as a removable disk.
In this mode you can transfer with copy and paste or drag and drop
method.
note
Before disconnecting in MSC mode always go through the icon right below "safely remove hardware": remove the player in the icon before taking out the USB cable.

MTP = Media Transfer Protocol, having the player connected in software
e.g. Windows Media Player.
note
Disconnect the player only after the dialog in the software tells you can disconnect the player or transfers have been finished.

USB connection mode can be set in the menu, it can be
auto detect
MSC
MTP
Look in the manual for this setup.

c200 series version 2:

USB connection mode can also be forced into MSC mode on the version 2 player (default connection version 2 player is MTP mode):
1. Turn device OFF.
2. Slide the hold switch to the direction of the REC button so an orange color would show putting the device on Hold.
3. Press and hold the left ( |<< ) button while connecting the device to the PC.

There is two main ways that you can transfer photographs to your laptop;

  • USB 2.0 Full Speed for rapid music transfer Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-101 - High-speed data transfer

I want to transfer data from my dial-up desktop, to my new laptop high-speed broadband. How?

Several ways:
1.) 4GB flash drive
2.) External USB drive (320GB or more)
3.) Burn CD or DVD on the desktop and copy to the laptop
4.) Connect them in a local or ad hoc network (not too easy)
I'm sure other expers will have more ideas...

Anyway, at the desktop, run the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" to gather your desktop info, such as favorites, desktop icons, My Documents, etc:
[Start]
[All Programs]
[Accessories]
[System Tools]
[Files and Transfer Wizard] [Next]
At the desktop, answwer [Old Computer] [Next]
Cintinue to answer the questions
If you have a lot of music or loots of pictures, then just transfer the "Settings Only".

After a successful transfer of the settings, run the wizard again and transfer your "Data Only"

Hope this gets you started.

How do I transfere photos from my mobile LG KP170 to my computer

Hello,
you can use either a USB cable, or bluetooth to transfer date to your computer.

if you didn't get a USB cable with your phone, you can find them online, or at your local retail stores.
then you would use active sync, or device spcific software to transfer the info.

I hope this works for you!

I downloaded onfo. onto My Book from 1 computer with windows xp and want to restore it to my new computer -a gateway with windows vista. I can't get info on how to restore it and the product came with no...

You won't be trying to restore info but transferring it, from how you explained it. I'm not sure about Vista but in XP it's called the file and transfer wizard. Start/ all programs/ accessories/ system tools/ files & transfer wizard. You will actually be physcially connecting the 2 pc's together with a ribbon to your printer ports. I pretty sure this is the right ports but in the wizard it will tell you.
Another way is to use a usb flash drive. At least 1 gig should be plenty of room. Copy from one and attach usb drive to the one your copying to.
You can also get an external hdd. This, to me is the most practical as you can use it to store your back ups.
All of these ways are solutions to your situation. But you must keep in mind that if you try to copy/cut a program from Vista to Xp (or other way around) you have to make sure it doesn't require the entire program to run correctly. Such as MicroSoft Office. You will have to have it on both pc's for your file transfer to work. Understand?
