Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Once you unplugged the HDMI cable and then plugged the component cables
back in and powered it on, it should have reset for you. Make sure then
after you've unplugged the HDMI cable and plugged in the component
cables again, that you've powered the machine off with the switch in
the back. Leave it off for about 10 seconds, the power it on, see what
happens, it should come up in just a basic video mode, showing 480i.
Good luck and have a great day!
