Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S2276 Notebook
I downgraded to XP, and now my built-in webcam doesn't work the way it should. It comes on for 1 second, then goes black. I've tried different drivers but none fix it. Any advice?
Test it with Knoppix (e.g. a LiveCD) or Mac OS X or your old Vista HD or something to make sure the webcam has not lost its physical connection or function!
Then maybe run RegClean or uninstall the random drivers you played with, then try to load the right one first (if one exists.)
Upgrading to Mac OS X or FreeBSD or a Linux distro does not sound like a bad idea to me, especially if WinXP grieves you.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
