Question about HP LaserJet 1320 Printer

1 Answer

Curling We have an HP Laserjet 1300. We are printing on preprinted, recycled newsprint and the pages are curling. Is there any way to have the curling stop or be reduced as much as possible?

I have scrach mark on the middle of the paper. I guess is that it may be the roler or something that is scraching the papers. Please help if you can. Many thanks.

The paper is definitely your problem. I suggest you try all types of paper settings that are available on your machine. I think there is a recycled paper setting.

HP Color LaserJet CM2320nf MFP Envelope wrinkles

On alot of printers when you print envelopes theres a back door on the printer to prevent the curling or wrinkles. Just open the back door when doing envelopes.

Best of luck and have a happy and safe 4th of July weekend!

HP 3000n Laser Color Printer - Paper is curling up when it comes out of the printer. How do I stop that?

Make sure you've let the printer know what type paper you are using. In the print dialog on your PC, you must choose in the preferences area whether Plain, Photo, Glossy, Cardstock, Envelopes, etc. Such things control the pressure of the rollers in the fuser, as well as it temperature. Too hot will result in curled paper.

Also, make sure you are storing the paper properly prior to printing. It can't be too damp either, or it will curl.

Finally, if all else fails, your fuser may be overheating and need to be replaced. Hope not. If so, look for a rebuillt one online. Much cheaper than new. Good lick!

Up to what weight paper can I use in my HP Color Laserjet 2600n

Usually you can print up to about 60lb paper. You may be able to go as high as 90-110 (card stock) if the paper print path is straight thorugh. If you printer has a rear paper door then you can try heavier paper. Usually 40-60 is safe for printer without a rear door/heavy paper path.

The problem is that the heavier paper cannot bend around the rollers inside. So if it is setup to allow heavy paper it runs through flat and out the back instead of curling around and out the top as normal.

I have printed all odd # pages from a document, but my HP Laserjet 4 won't feed these pages back through to print on the blank side with even # pages. I've tried to keep the front (feeding edge) of papers...

You need to try a thicker paper, Heavier stock to double print the page. Slightly more expensive. Recycled paper typically will not work for this type of function. I had this same problem and found this was the only solution.

Brother HL_5280SW Clack and pages curling

When paper is damp and runs threw the fuser in machine paper dries out and curls, try fresh paper, see this link about paper. Try a fresh sealed ream of quality paper

I dont have this model in Australia but it looks the same as the HL 5270 and there is bullitin released on these to eliminate paper curl, they upgraded the fuser and exit guide to fix this problem, yours is 2 months old so is covered by warranty, contact brother in your country to have it fixed.
