Right cartridge incorrect for Lexmark X3350

How i going to solve this problem? When i get the printer it already prompt out this error, i not familiar with printer so i hope some one can assist me to solve the problem

Checked the Lexmark knowledge base for the error message "right cartridge incorrect". It came back with instructions for the X8310/8350, X7350 and X7170. Nothing for the X3350.

The instructions seem to be pretty much the same for all other models so maybe they'd work for your 3350. If not, there's always the technical support link. I've got an older X1150 and tech support has always helped me out

X3350 printer says incorrect right cartridge


My be ink cartridges has not refilled in proper way.Are you sure your cartridge are compatible with printer?

You can follow the given steps..

  1. Remove the indicated print cartridge.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
  4. If the power button button is not lit, press power button.
  5. Reinsert the print cartridge.

If the error:
  • Does not reappear, the problem has been corrected.
  • Reappears, replace the print cartridge with a new one.

I have an Lexmark x3350 and bought a new black ink cartridge a couple weeks ago. I was working fine till now, printer screen is showing Left cartridge incorrect. I unplugged everything, tried ...


Turn off the Printer and Unplug it from the Power Supply.
Remove the Cartridges from the Printer!!!!!
On the Backside of the Cartridge you would see a Copper Stripe, Wipe the Copper Stripe using a Paper Towel!
Reinsert the Cartridges and Restart the Printer.

When printing on x3350 with a new cartridge... get lines that are double and some with thick black ink on some letters.


Try to reseat the cartridges into the printer. If problem continues, then maybe the cartridge nozzles need cleaning. Follow the simple steps below on how to clean the cartridge nozzles on the Lexmark X3350:
  1. Go to Start, Programs (Windows XP: All Programs) > Lexmark 3300 Series > Lexmark Solution Center.
  2. Click the Maintenance tab.
  3. Click Clean to fix horizontal streaks.
  4. Click Print. A cleaning page prints, forcing ink through the clogged nozzles to clean them.
  5. Print the document again to verify that the print quality has improved.

I have an lexmark all in printer and i just recently brought refill ink and when i install them it keep telling me unsupported cartridge please help


Though Lexmark does not recommend using refilled ink cartridges, you may try to refer to this article in the Lexmark website on Unsupported Cartridge Error on a Lexmark X3330/X3350 All-In-One to determine and resolve the problem. If error continues, try to insert a different known working cartridge. Thanks.

I have a Lexmark X3350 and I just replaced the blank cartridge (on the left). Now it is saying Left Cartridge Incorrect. It is in there right, what else can I do?


Mostly, printer cartridge error occurs when the printer head is unable to identify the cartridge properly. And the basic reason behind this is that the cartridge is improperly attached.

To reattach the cartridge check the following steps :

turn on the lid of the printer and then remove the cartridge from the printer head.

Check the cartridge to make sure that there are no scratches or other damaged parts that can contribute to a printer cartridge error report.

Take note that the cartridge should not be left open for more than 30 minutes; otherwise the ink will start to dry up and the cartridge will get clogged.

I replaced a black cartridge in my x3350 and get a cartridge incorrect


if you removed the cartridge and replaced it several times, it is most likely a defective cartridge. Return it to the store where you purchased it.

Some times the new ink cartridges are defective and won't work. you should be able to go out and get a new one. but before that take the ink cartridge out and use a tissue and clean the conacts on the front and bottum that should fix it if not you will need a new cartridge.

Lexmark x3350 cartridge error


Error 1203 on a Lexmark is an issue that occurs either when a cartridge is bad or the printer cartridge Slot is bad... I would suggest you to try cleaning the copper contacts of the both carts and cart slot in the printer and try again..

If that doesn't work just call up their support number and check for replacement..
