Trying to sort out MyGuide 3100 problem. added explorer line to igopath file, accessed control panel, checked storage system. found 3 partitions on flash disk. could only scan part002. repaired it as well as defragging it. now when I start the device it crashes out at myguide launcher stage - exception occured and writes to crash text file, which has no info at all about what happened. cannot transfer files from laptop to device via active sync as access is denied check disk space message keeps appearing. cannot check disk space as device is 'crashed', but can see device contents via active sync. cannot create new sd card data as maploader SD program has create buttons greyed out. Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance.

What the re-installation did was partition the HD with the small (24GB) partition and most likely left the rest of the disk un-partitioned. If you are familiar with Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Computer Management / Storage / Disk Management, you may be able to add a second partition to the present one in the laptop. If you see an open area that doesn't appear to have a partition this is what occurred. Right click the "C-drive" line and add a partition.
You can find them on torrentz sites...But when you do get them there is a maploader program on your original disc and also on the torrentz files... you just pick from the list! but you have to take out your SD card and put it in a card reader for the maploader program to see it?...hope this helps
