Check your vent hose running to the outside you may just have a clog causing the dryer to run too long

My refrigerator/ freezer doesn't seem to be too cool. Cleaned bottom coils and left unplugged for 24 hrs. Turned back on and it worked fine for a week. Now it is not cooling again. Any ideas why?

Hello Chris Conrad,

Worked fine for a week... is actually a pretty good sign...
MOST likely means the cooling is OK...

FROST-FREE (defrost)... should become your focus

TYPICALLY... (assuming you have that type of UNIT).

after the week... is it clogged with frost / ice (cool in the freezer area but not the refrigerator... (a week is a little less than average to become non-functional in the refrigerator (cheap little refrigerator thermometers come in really handy here... (but still cool in the freezer area where all the REAL cooling is done))).

Can you see frost/ice blocking any air slots in the FREEZER AREA??

Is water being put in the (I assume) "defrost pan" daily...?

Easy to check... put a strip of typing paper folded over the edge of the (water tray) defrost pan...

Still clean, straight & dry tomorrow = defrost circuit failure
(again.... assuming it is a "frost-free").

Yes (clean & straight) means I am wrong: paper
will look rumpled & ugly (possibly wet).

Then...

You have a HUGE AIR INTRUSION problem you need to fix first... (door alignments, gaskets, etc.) then get sophisticated about makes, model numbers... & how soon it takes to get ICE-BOUND.

You can comment me back... or get out the original
refrigerator documents... (typically) looking for:
- Defrost timer or control board
- Defrost thermostat
- Defrost HEATING ELEMENT

OR

Search on line to parts/spares + appliance+ (your model number).

Good luck...

REFRIGERATOR DOESN'T DEFROST. HAD SEARS AND OTHER REPAIR COMPANIES D/A SPENT ALOT IN REAPIRS AND PROBLEM STILL THE SAME.

Call complain , if paid with credit card contest payment as they did not fix problem and you paid them to do so, if paid with credit card that would also extend any repair warranty

Washer just hums water will not fill breakers are fine water taps are on water works in house wont work in any of the other cycles

Assuming u r doing a warm wash where both cold and hot water should be coming in, it would be odd for both fill valves to go bad at same time. So I would guess it's the timer or control board clock not working. U did not give washer info, so not sure what u have. Timer is simple and inexpensive. Control board expensive, but still easy. If u have a knob that u turn for setting cycles then u have a clock type timer. Good luck.

Why dose water keeps filling wash when off oasis he 27082 top load

The timer turns the water on to fill, the pressure switch turns it off. If the water contacts are welded together (can happen over time) then the water solenoid will be on all the time. Easy way to check. Unplug the unit, then remove the electrical plug from the water valve (hot or cold depending which one is causing the issue) plug unit back in. If water stops filling the timer is bad. If the water does not fill then the timer is fine, but the water valve solenoid is bad.

Cuisinart dgb900bc. Set timer to brew at 5 45. Have for many years. Last two nights at 5 45 clock goes to 12 00 AM. Does not come on automatically. Turn on manually and brews coffee as great as usual....

I would assume that the chip/timer unit has failed in the unit. Not sure you want to try to disassemble the coffee maker to get at it. Have you tried reversing the a.m. to p.m. (thus the clock would read 5:45 p.m. at 5:45 a.m.) settings and seeing if the machine would brew the coffee normally? (although I seriously doubt this will work, but...)

Woods in-wall timer

If Woods 59028 timer turns on-off, then it is probably wired correctly, assuming white wire is connected to neutral or ground as shown on following link.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#59028

Lights turn on-off with override button, so timer is probably not beyond rated capability.
That leads back to programming.
Before beginning, always reset timers to clear out possible conflicts.
Next, program carefully so there are no programming conflicts or overlaps,
Make sure that each ON has corresponding OFF, and that selected day(s) match for both ON and OFF.
Woods 59208 timer has 1 year warranty for defects in workmanship.
Buy timers at local box store so returns are easy ... you can buy new timer and return defective timer in new package long after warranty period expires ... giving yourself free extended warranty.
About 4% of new timers arrive defective.

My orbit # 57974 shows Pwr Off on display in AUTO mode. Fuse and batteries are OK. The unit will not turn on. Help

Then possibly you have a bad breaker check to make sure you breaker is on, the batteries in your timer only hold time if the electric goes out and you will not have to set timer again. Most likely it is your breaker to what ever side of wall the timers on. And check the outet that it is plug in could be bad ,check both before you buy eitherone you will need a 15amp breaker to replace old one.

Oil grade and level in pump reservoir? Motor is shutting down, all else seems fine, assume is oil level. North Star with Honda GX340 - pressure washer.

15-40 there will be a fill mark that is easy to see when you remove the cap or it will have a dip stick

Second your oil pressure switch may be bad or have a bad connection

Instructions for operating leica vario-elmar minilux zoom

I don't have a C1, but in all probability it's the EV (exposure value) compensation adjustment, and should be variable between about +2 and -2. Usually the middle/zero/auto/normal (whatever they call it) setting is fine, but sometimes you want to overrule your automatic exposure settings, which are intended for an average-brightness scene. For example, a photo of a dazzling white snow-covered field will probably come out a soft, easy-on-the-eyes light gray unless you kick up the exposure a notch or two. Try taking your camera to an unusually bright/dim location (a beach, inside an old church) and take the same shot five times, with EVs from -2 through 0 to +2. Then look at the resulting photos and decide whether the effects are pleasing/useful or not (warning--sometimes automatic photo processors will try to reset the picture to average when they print the photo, so you may still end up with minimal differences in the shots). A good beginner-level explanation of EV compensation is at <http://www.imaging-resource.com/ARTS/EVCOMP/EVCOMP.HTM>.

Good luck!
