Question about Samsung Televison & Video

Open Question

My Samsung 52" tv is model nbr LN52B630N1FX2A I've just walked in the door with it and unpacked it. I brought it from AFFEES. It was a demo model. All is good except I don't believe that I have all of the hardward to attach it to the the stand. I have three mounting screws, and one screw with two washers and that's it. Can you tell me what size screws I need and if I can get the at Home Depot? Also is there anything else that I need to attach it to the stand?

SOURCE: tv stand screws

Check the kitchen drawer next to the fridge for the screws !!

When you get new screws, use lengths 1/2".. any longer and you might hit something inside.

Don't know why this is posted under IS-LCDTV26.. I would pull a screw from my 26" and measure it, but it's most likely different than your 42"

If you pay for shipping I will send you my screws. Maybe a buck or two will cover it in an envelope. I just removed them last night as the TV is being junked for the parts. Email me.

SOURCE: purchased universal wall mount kit for Samsung LN46B530

Too little or too short? I've installed a few of these mounts and they should have come with a variety of different size screws. Is it possible the mount is not rated for your TV? Samsung should be able to provide you with thread size. I thought they were standard metric machine screws. Just watch length. That's where the damage could occur should scvrews go too deep into set.

0F 0F on a Samsung refrigerator display indicates that your unit is in DEMO Mode. In DEMO mode, the lights work, but the refrigerator/freezer, fans, etc. will not operate (this mode is for display/retail purposes in appliance stores). Unfortunately, Samsung does not include any info re: DEMO mode in their user manuals.

To exit DEMO mode and return to operating mode, you will need to push 2 display buttons simultaneously for ~ 3 seconds (you'll hear a small chime, then the display window will display the freezer/fridge temps and will then be out of the 0F 0F DEMO mode). The 2 display buttons that you have to press simultaneously will depend on the model of Samsung refrigerator that you have.

I have a Samsung RF18HFENBSR model (french door, bottom freezer, display at top center of fridge compartment). For this model, you press the Power Freeze & Freezer buttons at the same time to enter/exit DEMO mode).

You might try googling Samsung XXXXXXXXXX Demo Mode, where XXXXXXXXX is your model number, and you may find the display button combo for your model. If not, then you can probably get the combination from Samsung support to return your unit to normal operating mode. Your appliance store may also have that information.

Your TV is in store demo mode.

To fix this, access the TV's menu and find the option to run initial setup. At the beginning of initial set-up, you'll be asked whether or not the TV should be put into Home or Retail mode. Choose Home.

Stuck in demo mode

It would help to post the model number of your refrigerator, but on most newer Samsung models, you press and hold the Lighting and Freezer buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. You should hear a chime to indicate that Demo mode is turned off. If that doesn't help, try the troubleshooter tool on the Samsung website.

Replacement color wheel for samsung 50'

I am having the exact same issue with the exact same TV. They no longer make that color wheel, so I am looking for a replacement part as well.

I am looking at the 01103A as well from here:
http://www.partstore.com/Part/Samsung/Samsung/BP9601103A/New.aspx?ModelMfgName=Samsung&ModelBrandName=Samsung&ModelNumber=HLR5078W

I think I might just order it, and if it doesn't work just return it.
