Do i need a cd to get my printer to work on my computer?I bought it at a yard sale but what do i need to do to hook it up? romynb23@yahoo.com

If you're running Windows XP or Vista for your computer, there's no need for you to have a CD because these OS (Operating Systems) contains the generic drivers for most printers.

All you have to do is to connect your printer and let the computer detect it. But if there's no available driver for your printer, that's the time that you'll need to have a driver or CD.

You can download the drivers from the Dell support website and use the file for the installation. Click on the link below and select the correct Operating System and download the file. Save it on your desktop and Run it (Run as Administrator for Vista and Win7 users).

this printer normaly use the usb cable

Buy a usb cable to printer in any comuter shop ( sutable for the printer)

I have a canon multipass mp390 printer-I don't have any cords to hook up to my PC-where can I get them? And I also need a cd to load to my pc-where can I get it??


if youre not in a hurry and want to keep it cheep check at yard sales or swapmeet..other than that theres ebay or a computer store..as a last resort you could order from the manufacturer but thats usually expensive..

Dont know about offline, why dont you download the drivers and burn them to a cd for her

No cd to load in computer


Go to http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi and select your operating system then download the driver. You won't need the CD. If this helps you, please give me a good rating.
