Re: transfering music :S
Put your usb in your computer/laptop and then close all programs to do with your usb and then open windows media player and then were it says sync press it and it will come up with all the music you have saved on your laptop/computer and then drag it to the section were it says start sync and when you have all the music you want in there press start sync and then you wont be abel to use your phone for a while whilst it is sendingmusic and make sure your battery is fully charged as well the last thing you want is downloading loads of music and your phone going off

To put music on your W810i cellphone, connect it to your laptop with the usb cable. If you don't have the cable use a memory stick. The phone or card will show up as a removable drive on your computer in the Windows Explorer. Copy folders of music into the MP3 directory. When your phone is disconnected or the card is inserted, it will take several moments to index the music, and then your music will appear in the music listings.
on windows xp: 1 in start menue right click my computer, 2 click hardware tab, 3 go to device manager, 4 to find the correct device you will need to unplug the device and watch what device is removed in device manager, 5 plug the cable back to your phone, 6 open the device, 7 click update driver and xp will do the rest. this will allow you to access the memory card in the phone.
make sure that your phone has a memory card SD brand required, then right click on your "my computer" and go to where it says devices and removable storage you should see your lg on there then when ever you get music just drag it to the folder
transferred all my files onto my computer, then proceeded to format the memory card whilst in the phone. transferred all the files back onto the memory card and bingo the music player works fine. Strange that the memory card was from my samsung e900 and worked fine.
im not a genius or anything but i have nokia pc suite and i cant drag files to my phone either. i usually just plug the memory card into the computer and it comes up as a memory card with the images and video clips folders etc. im pretty sure its faster than the usb cable. you could also buy a usb infrared thing but they are very slow to transfer files. so if you really want to use your usb cable then this question wouldnt've helpd. thanks.
