I was playing PGR4 online when all of a sudden my screen started changing different colors and then went red for about 30 seconds and then turned black with dots going diagnally across the screen.
At first I thought it was a problem with the A/V cords so I took it to my friends house and used his T.V,power cord, an A/V cords and I still didn't couldn't get it to work. My warrenty is expired and I bought it about 4 months ago. Now I'm wondering should I do the towel trick!?!OH.. and by the way my X-BOX is refurbished just to let you know. I got it at Game Stop.
Hi.. sorry to hear about your problem that is unfortunate. I believe you can still contact microsoft bc they extended the warranty to help with the red ring of death issue that most people have had. Call gamestop and find out if they can tell you how old the system is or just contact miscrosoft directly and explain your issue.. i know right now microsoft has extended the warranty to 3years out just not sure when that was implemented and how old your system is.. xbox.com
good luck and let me know how it goes, hope this helps you..
