I had same problems, deleted all and trying firmware update, but still no luck

I have tried that, but I cannot get the player to switch into MSC mode. When I select it (MSC), the screen goes gray with a bunch of lines through it -it then restarts and stays in MTP mode.

Go in your settings on the mp3 player and look under USB modes. change it to MSC mode and reconnect it to your PC. if this doesn't work go to Sandisk website and download the firmware updater. and retry...should clear the issue.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Sansa e260

You need to synch them to Rhapsody or whatever music service you pulled the songs from. also, make sure your music service subscription supports transfer to portable devices instead of simple transfer to a computer.

Synchronize to continue your music subscribtion???????

You have to synchronize your Sansa to a computer that has a current subscription to Rhapsody, and you have to sync the Sansa to that same computer at least once every 30 days, or the Rhapsody songs will stop working. Use a different music service that is free, or convert all of the songs to Mp3 format to get around the problem. If you get a subscription to another music svc, then you must maintain a current subscription with whatever new svc you choose as well.

Won't sync rhapsody music!!

Make sure the date/time settings on your player are accurate. Mine got reset to last year and it was thinking that my subscription was expired when it wasn't.

it's asking that you verify the DRM status (i.e., that you bought it and it resides on YOUR computer.) It cannot play the file until you synchronize it with windows media player. You can delete them off of the MP3 player just by noting which songs don't play and deleting them through windows explorer when the player is connected.
