Question about Acer TravelMate 529ATX Notebook
I turn my computer on and the notebook's monitor remains black. The power button is lit, but the screen remains black. I have only owned the notebook for around 40 days
Tried on power only and battery only. No better with either.
Black uses much less power. It's a device for automation, so you really should not lavish the watts and attention on it unless it has to perform something truly novel.
If you really want to use the monitor though, you can use the function-key combination used to switch the display between internal and external displays.
