Question about Maytag MER5775Q Electric Kitchen Range
This is a problem with the temperature sensor - which is replaceable. If this fails to cure the fault, then it may be the control board that is not interpreting the sensor correctly.
I would change the sensor first - as it's the cheaper of the two.
If you do not feel competent in finding it, then get quotes for replacing these specific parts.
